More Star Wars Goodies From Jedi Master Nads...

Here's another batch of Star Wars themed goodies for you to geek-out at!

Happy Father's Day!

As Jedi Master Nads and myself are both dads (as is Dark Knight also) yesterday was a pretty special day for us. We hope all you dads out there had a great day too! Yodanews.com had this Star Wars fathers day greeting up which JMN thought was worth mentioning.

Star Wars The Old Republic Webcomic Continues...

Issue 9 of the ongoing webcomic saga that is 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' is now available to view online HERE Can't wait to see the game this is based on when it's finally released!

Darth Maul Bronze from Lawrence Noble

Artist Lawrence Noble, best known for his impressive sculptures of Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda (which greets visitors to the Lucasfilm campus in the Presidio) recently unveiled his latest contribution to Star Wars -- two bronze sculptures of Darth Maul. See an interview with Starwars.com HERE. Wouldn't mind one of those on my shelf!

Slave Leia Obsessed

If you're a regular visitor to this blog you'll know that Jedi Master Nads is not just obsessed with Star Wars but specifically Princess Leia in a gold bikini, otherwise know as 'Slave Leia'. It seems to be a common obsession amongst Star Wars fans and has even been used for gags on shows like Friends and Chuck and even the movie Fanboys. It would seem though that the person inside the outfit doesn't necessarily have to be Carrie Fisher for the fetish to succeed. We've posted many a link and image of various girls dressed up as Slave Leia in the past year, the latest being Olivia Munn the other day, but JMN wanted to point out another obsessed fan he recently found on MySpace; 'Jawa Pimp'. Take a look HERE to visit his page and see the images he's accumulated of various real life and fantasy comic girls in the famous skimpy bikini! I've seen a few of these girls at the San Diego Comic Con myself the last two years! I think I might have even taken their photos too!

I found this image whilst searching for one to post up and thought it fitted in perfectly with the post!

Star Wars Beach Essentials!

How cool are these!!! US manufacturer Jakks Pacific have created a new line of Star Wars themed inflatables for fans looking to hit the beach this summer. So far they're only available in the US in places like Walmart but hopefully we'll see them heading over here sometime soon. Pictured above are:
* Millennium Falcon and Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter which are over three feet long!
* X-wing and Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter which each measure over five feet long and include a direct-draw water cannon!
* The Artoo inflatable drink server!

Star Trek: TNG 1/6th Scale Figures From Dragon

Jumping from Star Wars to Star Trek we now have news of some new (and pretty good looking) 1/6th scale figures from manufacturer 'Dragon', best known for creating a huge catalogue of military figures. Although I've seen some pretty awful stuff from Dragon recently at Collectormania 15 (Timeline action figures! WHAT?) these actually look OK and I wouldn't mind adding them to my 1/6th scale collection I've already got from Sideshow. Find them HERE at Bigbadtoystore.
