A Dark Knight Post

OH MY GOD!!!! I knew they'd do a sequel but didn't think it'd be this quick.....LEFT 4 DEAD 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Woo Hoo!) KW With this and MODERN WAREFARE 2 out in November....my X-Box 360 is going to be red hot!!

Check out the teaser below for LFD2 (chainsaws and frying pans? Can't wait!) KW

There's a new clip from the new installment of the STARGATE franchise 'UNIVERSE' live on the Sci-fi.com website found HERE. I can't wait for this series to get going.....been in desperate need for some gate travel since ATLANTIS was cancelled.

Great news!!! Not only did ASHES TO ASHES just end it's second season with a bang, but it's already been confirmed that there will be a third (and final) season to end the series.
But what will I fill my time with?..............Oh well, there are always the DVD'S.
I'm now going to go and frame my hand signed Life on mars poster which Philip Glenister signed for me at COLLECTORMANIA 15 at the weekend..........God i'm a geek!!!!

And here's the proof. A pic I took of Dark Knight getting his poster signed by Philip Glenister last Sunday at C15... To his left is Nathan Fillion! KW

I love HOT FUZZ..........check out the outtakes.

And if you haven't seen it, other than you being a fool, why not watch this clip and it'll explain it all.

USA Today has posted the first image of Iron Man 2 star Mickey Rourke in costume as the villainous Ivan/Whiplash. Whiplash sports a power pack on his chest that looks similar to the repulsor tech used by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)."The technologies are definitely related, and that's part of the core theme of the film," director Jon Favreau told the newspaper. The character's alter ego, Ivan Vanko, is a Russian who has constructed his own version of a suit. Among the creative alterations: a pair of whips, powered by the suit's glowing chest piece, expected to keep Iron Man cracking. This first image of the character shows the villain making an appearance at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. Iron Man 2 opens May 7, 2010......can't wait.

THIS post over at Bleeding Cool claims to have a scoop regarding the setting for the next (fifth) TERMINATOR film currently being mulled by McG & minions. /film recently validated Bleeding Cool's sourcing on the matter (HERE).
We'd already heard the film's concept could well involve future Skynet mech rolling into our time, and that Robert Patrick might appear in the film as a doctor/scientist whose work is ultimately perverted into the mercury-like/shape-shifting tech later utilized by Terminators.
So, where might all of this go down?

...the sequel to Terminator: Salvation, will be set in London in the year 2011, with a time-travelling John Connor (Christian Bale).

Does the franchise really deserve a sequel? Is it strong enough to push the envelope and build upon SALVATION'S shortfalls?

I must admit that I had my reservations after seeing T4 on opening night last Wednesday.....but I have just watched it again (God bless ORANGE WEDNESDAYS...buy one get one free!!!) and can see glimmers of hope in what appeared at first glance to be a butchered masterpiece. I'm now waiting for the DVD and a faint hope of a directors cut restoring this to the glory that it probably had before being cut to pieces in the editing room to achieve the 12A rating (PG13 to our american friends).

DON'T PRE JUDGE THIS FILM...please watch it for yourselves and make your own minds up......it really isn't THAT bad.

More when I hear about an offical "green light" for T5..

http://www.terminatorfiles.com/ has detailed descriptions about the deleted scenes from T4.........and quite frankly they seem to be the little bits that flesh out the movie.....like completing the links between Marcus and Williams (bloodgood), covering the pregnancy of Kate Connor, and generally putting the missing emotion into the story.

Roll on the DVD and please, please, McG.....do a directors cut and make the movie the way it shoulda been!!!!!

And for anyone that likes the really slow melodic song that appears in many of the T4 trailers.....the song is called THE DAY THE WORLD WENT AWAY but Nine inch nails.....great song, but sadly the music in the movie actually SUCKED!!!!!

McG, I'm ashamed for you....the music in SUPERNATURAL rocks and i was hoping some of that might rub off.....guess I was sadly wrong!!!

LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got everything crossed for T5.

Fed up of those cold lonely nights without BATTLESTAR in your life? Well fear not, CAPRICA is on its way and if the pilot is anything to go by it should be good.

CYLONS, sex, and some throat slitting action.........what more can you want. Solid performances from all the cast, and an intriguing story give you all the elements of the SCIFI classic (although not a space ship in sight...but then off world travel is mentioned all the way through.)

Fingers crossed it'll keep up the pace and deliver more GALACTICA-esc escapades.

And if you can't wait, you can always be naughty and check out the link for it on MEGAVIDEO.COM

I'm now finishing season 4 of BATTLESTAR on DVD........ah, just like the good ol' days.

Just couldn't stop laughing at this pic below!!!!!
