David Caradine Found Dead Last Week

So, while travelling back from Chessington on Friday night we stopped off at a Welcome Break on the M25. Whilst perusing the magazines and papers in WHSmith I was shocked to read that 72 year old David Caradine (best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine in the 1970s TV series Kung Fu and Bill in Kill Bill 1 & 2) was found dead in Bangkok, Thailand.

I was even more shocked to read that it wasn't a natural death either, he'd been found hanging from a bar in his closet with rope around his neck, wrists and genitals, supposedly also wearing women's lingerie and a wig (according to Thai forensic pictures taken at the scene). Thai authorities have ruled Carradine's June 4 death a"sex accident" due to autoerotic asphyxiation gone wrong, although his family are questioning that judgement and are saying there's foul play involved, now involving the FBI in the matter.

David's 3rd and 4th wife have both publicly spoken out about his potentially deadly deviant sexual preference's stating that not only did he engage in these kinds of acts with others but would also partake in the activities by himself... So there might be the chance that he accidentally killed himself or that someone else was there, but that hasn't been confirmed either way.

It's a sad loss to the entertainment world and a shame he had to go in such a publicly awkward way.
