Wow... If there's one director who knows how to destroy the world it's Roland Emmerich! After mega movies like Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow and Godzilla (OK so Godzilla was a bit pants) he's moved on to the total destruction of the world for '2012'.
The premise is simple: The ancient Mayan calendar runs until 2012 and many believe this is because they predicted the end of us all... As you'll see in this trailer 2012 follows the people trying to survive the apocalypse whilst they battle meteors, earthquakes, tsunami's and more.
It's an amazing looking film with some truly 'holy crap, look at that' scenes for you to gaze upon. I may not be a fan of horror movies but I have to admit to being a huge disaster movie fan. This could be great!
