Conan casting news seems to be coming in thick and fast at the moment and after hearing that Rose McGowan had been added to the cast (not as Red Sonja as most had hoped) we now hear that Rachel Nichols fellow G.I. Joe member Saïd Tagmaoui (played 'Breaker' in Joe) has been cast as a leader of a group of thieves who is saved by Conan and then offers him aid later on in return.
Other, more crucial news, is that Mickey Rourke now seems to be out as Conan's father 'Corin' and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) may well have nabbed the roll instead. Confirmation on that fact is sketchy at this time as he's certainly got a role in the movie but whether it's actually Corin on not has yet to be 100% confirmed. I'm sure this is correct but the originating site where the news came from wasn't sure...
