Originally tipped as the director for the upcoming Seth Rogan movie 'Green Hornet', Stephen Chow, the famous Hong Kong Chinese actor and director, was relegated down to acting in the part of the Green Hornet's partner Kato.
Now though it seems Chow has left the production completely as a casting call has gone out in Hollywood for the role. It looks like it's all taking too long to come together and Chow's moved on to another film which would conflict with Hornet.
It's a huge shame as Chow is absolutely perfect for the role of Kato, and anyone that fills his mighty martial arts shoes will simply be second best... Let's hope they don't go to Jackie Chan! I love the guy to bits, but he's just too old for Kato now!
