News of Matt Smith's casting seems to have met mixed reviews and until we see live footage of him in action with new companion Karen Gillan I don't think any fan's mind will be at rest. He's made a fair few Dr. Who followers quite uneasy...
These new images below don't help either with the young Matt looking more like an eccentric geography teacher than the funky Doctor we know and love. Surely the BBC wardrobe department could have come up with something better than this tweed jacket and bow tie combination? Even a plain blue or black suit would have been better than this. Maybe Karen's character 'Amy Pond' can help him with his wardrobe in later episodes... We'll see.
When the first footage gets released I'm hoping we'll all be happy, but until then I am currently not amused... Sorry Matt!
