News From The Dark Knight...

A Dark Knight Post

STAR WARS set for the small screen??

It appears that we may have more adventures in a galaxy far, far away..........but this time on the small screen.

This super secret production is currently casting and getting prepared to shoot in Australia this year for a debut in 2010.

From the limited information that I've found, it's going to centre on brand new characters and should bridge the gap between REVENGE OF THE SITH and A NEW HOPE. Although IMDB shows Anthony Daniels possibly appearing as C3PO and Daniel Logan as BOBBA FETT....have to wait and see I guess.

Fingers crossed no more JAR JAR BINKS............PLEASE!!!!!

GREEN LANTERN......I'll believe it when I see it.

What are the chances of ever seeing Ryan Reynolds running around in the iconic Lantern Corps uniform?

Probably the same as ever seeing SUPERMAX (the Green arrow movie), Superman 2, and a host of other planned then scrapped DC movies.

Has the wind finally fallen out of the superhero movie sails???? We'll see.

PRIMEVAL still alive and kicking??

Having seen news that there may be a PRIMEVAL movie on the go, I was hacked off the read that this will be an American based remake of the TV show............so basically it will have little to nothing to do with the ITV series.

MORE TORCHWOOD?

Apparently Russell T Davis is ready to rock and roll with season 4 of TORCHWOOD.

After the amazing CHILDREN OF EARTH 5 hour event, how could they fail to bring this great show back........the TORCHWOOD institute really has stepped out of THE DOCTORS shadow.

OH REJOICE ALL FANS OF THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!!! JERICHO LIVES!!!

Just reported on aintitcool.com, the next best thing to a movie/new season............. a 6 part comic book.

Love comics, and love JERICHO........what more can THE DARK KNIGHT wish for. See below for full details.

"On Friday, July 24th from 5:00-6:00 pm Jericho star Lennie James, producers Dan Shotz, Karim Zreik, Jon Steinberg, show writer Robert Levine, and Devil's Due Publishing (DDP) President Josh Blaylock will be on hand to discuss the "3rd Season" of the fan-favorite series in its new comic book format. The debut of the comic book series - Jericho: Season 3: Civil War -- will pick up where the television program left off, answering many questions for its passionate fans. The first issue of the comic book is scheduled for an October release and will be a six issue miniseries from DDP and the show's original creators and producers. Known as an "Ashcan" by comic collectors, DDP is currently at work on a black and white mini-comic giving an advanced sneak peek into the comic, which will become available for $5 but limited to 500 copies. Room 7AB".

I'll be getting these pre ordered ASAP............. I suggest you all DO THE SAME!!!!!! Lets get the ball rolling for another JERICHO related fan campaign.
