Jonah Hex - New Movie Poster & New DC Comics Movies

Below you'll find the first poster for the comic-adaptation movie 'Jonah Hex'. Featuring the disfigured gunslinger's worst side and Megan Fox's best (her front!) the poster is just a teaser for what has been dubbed a potential "kick-ass movie" by SDCC attendees lucky enough to see footage from the upcoming flick. It looks like it will be a simple action-western and there won't be any over the top fantasy/ comic style content such as zombies or voodoo, just cowboys kicking ass. Doesn't sound too bad to me...



News has also been released that the following DC comics movies are on the development slate at either the production stage or just the proposed idea stage:

Green Arrow: Supermax (we know about this one already but where the hell is it?)
Green Lantern (the lead role having been recently nabbed by Ryan Reynolds)
Bizarro
Flash
Aquaman (being pitched by Leonardo DiCaprio's production company 'Appian Way')
Shazam (aka Captain Marvel to the uninitiated, I like the sound of this one!)
Adam Strange


I know DC/ Warner Bros are trying to keep up with Marvel Studios' success but some of these are just plain weird... A Bizarro movie? Adam Strange? They really are reaching here, I can see Flash and Shazam being good movies but c'mon, bring back Wonder Woman or even a new Supergirl movie for God's sake. Personally I'd love to see a Booster Gold movie. I think that would have some potential, especially after the '52' comic storyline. Just keep Billy West (Fry from Futurama) as the voice of Skeets like in the Justice League cartoon and I'll be happy!

Oh and here is a new fan-photoshopped image of Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern. I think we're going to see a lot more of these as time goes on. Wish I had these photoshop skills!
