At Comic-Con last week a Game of Thrones panel was held with George R.R Martin himself, as well as the directors of the show and some of the cast members.
During this a video was played to show off the new cast members for season 3.
These included such book-favourites as Jojen and Meera Reed, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, Brynden "Blackfish" Tully, The Queen of Thorns and a few more.
As a complete "Song of Ice and Fire" nerd I am thrilled by nearly all of these castings; specifically Meera Reed and Beric Dondarrion.
However I am not so thrilled about Thomas Brodie-Sangster playing Jojen Reed. The character has to be a headstrong wise lad who inevitably has to make some very hard decisions, and only knowing Brodie-Sangster from the likes of "Nanny McPhee" and "Nowhere Boy" I seriously don't think he will live up to my expectations.
I hope to be very wrong!
