Jake is that you?

Holy crap! Jake Gyllenhaal has been seriously working out for his role of Prince Dastan in the new video game adaptation movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I always viewed Jake as a skinny little runt but these images from Justjared show a buffed up Gyllenhaal walking around the set in Morocco North Africa this week hand in hand with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon. The films plot has Jake playing a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Gemma Arterton, new Bond girl), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
This is one videogame-adaptation movie I'm hoping will do very well at the box office and with Mr. Gyllenhaal on board I have my fingers crossed he can make it a hit.
