On 3 August 2008, People Magazine reported that Christina Applegate (star of Married with children, Don't tell Mom the babysitter's dead and The sweetest thing) had been diagnosed with breast cancer. This was confirmed by her representative, who said in a statement: "Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening... Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."
I was really sad to hear this news as I'm a huge fan of Christina's work but as it says above it's been discovered early so I wish her a speedy recovery. Get well soon Christina!
