Yet another Hollywood death has just been brought to my attention in the form of Superman's movie mother - actress Susannah York, who yesterday lost her battle with advanced bone marrow cancer six days after her 72nd birthday.
York was a distinguished actress starting back in the 60's but known to many as Superman's mother and on screen wife to Marlon Brando's Jor El in Superman 1 & 2. (At least that's how I know and remember her).
