I'm a big fan of independent fan-films based on comics, T.V programmes or movies and recently there has been quite a buzz about a 40 minute movie based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy called 'The hunt for Gollum' which cost less than $5000 to make and has some serious production quality.
Released online 3 days ago The hunt for Gollum is definitely worth a watch if you're a LOTR fan.
I particularly enjoyed one of the later battle scenes and some of the effects were very impressive!
