Crush Of The Week #11

This week's Crush Of The Week is...

Kiefer Sutherland

You may know Mr. Sutherland from such absolute 80's gems as Stand By Me, The Lost Boys and Young Guns. Or you may know him as being a total badass in 24.

Either way, Kiefer Sutherland is an excellent combination of 80's perfection, complete badass and sexy mofo. 

Not only has he starred in some of the greatest movies to ever exist (The Lost Boys is a personal favourite,) hes also voiced a few animated characters;

One of which being the Nutcracker Prince in 1990's The Nutcracker Prince. I, personally, haven't met anyone who has seen this film before. I used to have it on VHS, taped from the TV, I believe and remember it vividly. I always remembered the Nutcracker Prince himself as having a wonderful voice, only recently did I realise it was the beautiful Kiefer Sutherland!
He's voiced a few others as well, another prominent one being General W.R. Monger in 2009's Monsters Vs. Aliens.

Now, a little (or a LOT of) appreciation is required for Kiefer's 80's years.

Lets start with Stand By Me (1986), which not only introduced a wider audience to Mr. Sutherland, but also to a young Will Wheaton, River Phoenix (RIP), Corey Feldman and Jerry O' Connell.

Kiefer played the role of total dick (but totally hot) Ace Merrill.

Now onto my most favourite of Kiefer's looks... 80's vampire... Complete with white-blonde mullet. Oh yes.

That, ladies and gents, is a real vampire. None of this Twilight tosh!

And finally on the 80's streak, Young Guns. DAT LONG HAIR.

Despite being absolutely spectacular on the retinas in the 80s, I find myself strangely drawn to Sutherland despite the fact he is now approaching 50 years old.

You can now see him kicking ass for eight excellent seasons in 24.
