Ridley Scott has recently been promoting his new sci-fi film Prometheus (which sees him returning to the Alien universe, yay!), and in a lengthy interview with The Daily Beast, he updates on the current status of the Blade Runner sequel/spin off.
"Funnily enough, I started my first meetings on the Blade Runner sequel last week. We have a very good take on it. And we’ll definitely be featuring a female protagonist."
