Ice Age: Continental Drift - New Voice Cast Announced

A new Ice Age sequel is in the works (first I've heard about it) and word from the internet states that some new cast members have been chosen with Jeremy Renner, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Aziz Ansari and hip hop star Drake all providing their voice talents in the movie. Renner will portray Gutt, a self-styled master of the high seas while Lopez will play Shira, a sabre toothed who melts the heart of Diego (Denis Leary). The other actors' animated alter egos have yet to be officially unveiled by Fox.

The new cast members join returning franchise regulars Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Seann William Scott, Queen Latifah and Josh Peck in a story that has our favourite prehistoric animals embarking upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates!
