Well anyway, whether you've seen it ore not it seems that although a new MK movie was out of the question a digital series wasn't, and now 2 of the original cast members from 'Rebirth' have signed on to star and a 3rd has joined them.
Jeri Ryan will return as Sonya Blade, Michael Jai White again as Jax and Darren Shahlavi is now Kano. No word yet on the other characters or actors, although none of the others from Rebirth are technically as well known as Ryan and White, but it sounds very good to me none the less. The gritty and realistic nature of Tancharoen's original short movie fits the MK world perfectly and hopefully we'll get a Sanctuary style facelift and see the series jump from digital to full blown TV series very quickly.
