Reunited with his estranged father (Oscar® winner Anthony Hopkins), Talbot sets out to find his brother...and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Lawrence Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline (Hugo Weaving) has come to investigate. As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Now, if he has any chance at ending the slaughter and protecting the woman he has grown to love, Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor. But as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself...one he never imagined existed.

Within days, the town has transformed into a sickening asylum; people who days ago lived quiet, unremarkable lives have now become depraved, blood-thirsty killers, hiding in the darkness with guns and knives. Sheriff Dutton tries to make sense of what’s happening as the horrific, nonsensical violence escalates. Something is infecting the citizens of Ogden Marsh…with insanity. Now complete anarchy reigns as one by one the townsfolk succumb to an unknown toxin and turn sadistically violent. In an effort to keep the madness contained, the government uses deadly force to close off all access and won’t let anyone in or out – even those uninfected. The few still sane find themselves trapped: Sheriff Dutton; his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell); Becca (Danielle Panabaker), an assistant at the medical center; and Russell (Joe Anderson), Dutton’s deputy and right-hand man. Forced to band together, an ordinary night becomes a horrifying struggle for survival as they do their best to get out of town alive.

AMBER HEARD - SCREAM QUEEN...and what a set of lungs they are!!!
Amber Heard is a hot property these days, mainly due to her amble charms and those eyes. With a dozen or so movies under her belt, several more popping up next year, and with no problems with on screen nudity I can see her going far.
And with a good portion of her movies falling into a horror genre (or there abouts) I think Miss HEARD is definitely the newest scream queen of 2009.
Enjoy the pics.

WHAT THE FRAKK??!!??
While browsing the web I stumbled across some of QMX's newest little gems......animated maquettes of two iconic characters from SYFY's Battlestar Galactica.
I love these things. Staight to EBAY for me to find them!!!
Oh, and another one I just found....Jayne COBB "little damn hero"........I love serenity so this is a must for any fan.

Please note QMx.................FREEBIES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
: )
CHRISTMAS LOOKS GRIM.....BUT GREAT.
Usually we think of roaring fires and Santa Claus when the Christmas season rocks round. The cinema usually has animated chipmunks and something involving moppets playing for the kids..............not this year. One of the most bleak and depressing movies FINALLY gets a release date this Christmas....THE ROAD.
Now rather than being depressing due to dire acting and a story that plays out like a 3 year old has just written it, It's depressing on purpose. It's the end of the world and a father and son fight to stay alive when everything around them is either dead, dying, or trying to kill whats left.
Not your usually festive movie, but I reckon this is going to end 2009 with an apocalyptic bang....and if that wasn't enough 2010 seems to be taking the "END OF THE WORLD" and zombie theme, which has dominated 2009, and releasing a movie named "THE CRAZIES".
THE CRAZIES is a remake of a 70's horror movie by the master George Romero, but rather than go for the full on zombie movie (which i think we've seen a lot of recently) they've gone down a more realistic route and used the horrors that people do and made the "zombie" in the film more of a metaphor......which kinda makes it more brutal and vicious than a stumbling blood covered movie zombie. Timothy OLYPHANT and Rahda MITCHELL star as residents of a small town that come under the effects of a chemical that makes everyone go mental and start killing.
I'm a horror nut, so both movies look awesome in their unique way....her are the trailers...and a pic of the very sexy Rahda MITCHELL.
Enjoy.

AVATAR....STEAMING TURD, OR THE NEXT BIG THING?
I just caught the new AVATAR trailer whilst at the cinema watching LAW ABIDING CITIZEN (which is a bloody awesome movie; Gerrard the sins of your performance in GAMER are forgiven) and it looks awesome on the big screen.
I know Mr Cameron has a reputation for spending far too much money and coming up with a massive load of crap, but I think he might have just pulled this one out of the bag. The cast look great, the special effects are awesome, and as long as the story is good this should be well worth a look.
Enjoy the trailer.

Kryptonian's Get Swine Flu Too & Our New Forum!
As you've probably noticed there has been a severe lack of posts lately... Unfortunately even though I've given Dark Knight the ability to post his own stuff, I myself have been laid out with the dreaded Swine Flu for the last 8 or 9 days. When I did the last post about the Stargate Atlantis/ Universe debate I was suffering a little, but then it kicked in with a vengeance. First the PC dies, then I get Swine Flu... not my time at the mo huh?! Me the missus and my youngest daughter all got it and dealt with it for 6 days before we went to the doc, who then said it was too late to administer Tamiflu or give antibiotics etc. What? Yeah, so we've dealt with it all by ourselves with Boots own cold and flu tablets and a lot of water and rest.
Anyway, I'm getting over it now finally, I just have the mother of all coughs to contend with, so I'll be posting the huge wad of stuff I've been building up recently in the next couple of days.
One thing I'd like to point out is that I created a new forum for the blog today. No reason to do it really but I thought that frequent visitors or members could jump on there and talk about just about anything and not be limited to the chatbox or comment box parts of this blog. It seems a lot of visitors have some interesting things to say and I've love to see some interactivity.
Please feel free to visit the forum and start some new threads. It's completely open for you to talk about whatever you want but excessive swearing, advertisements or the promotion of illegal content etc will not be tolerated.
Hope you use it, and enjoy it. You can visit the forum by clicking the link on the top right of the main page or by clicking HERE.
Posts coming asap!

The Stargate Atlantis/ Universe Debate... Burning Issue!
Even though I'm suffering a terrible case of what I can only presume is a form of the flu (not man-flu I can assure you) I thought I'd pop on and see what new comments have been left recently... And guess what I found? Almost every comment has been left on the post for the proposed Stargate Atlantis movie "Extinction" which was originally due out this year. People are angry at Atlantis' cancellation and at SGU for stepping in and being crap... I've been playing Devil's advocate and having my own say as I love SGU, but it seems there are quite a few fans out there who really want to speak their mind on the subject, positive or negative, and I thank you all for that.
You can find the original post HERE if you're interested in reading the 50 or so comments that have been posted since July. I was actually going to post a reply again tonight and then the stupid blog advisor popped up and said I'd waffled on for too long and had to shorten my entry. "Sod that, I'll create a new post, just for this" I thought. So here it is below. My latest reply to the blog visitors who have commented on, what seems to be, the biggest debate we've ever had on this site.
Let's try and cover a few of the replies.
Number 1: Is there actually going to be a SGA DVD movie called "Extinction" in 2009/ 2010?
Answer. No, it doesn't look like it anymore. Unfortunately due to a number of factors this movie will not be made... at least anytime soon. As you may or may not know MGM has unfortunately run into some major money issues during the recent recession and will either go under or be bought out, meaning that proposed projects under their banner will be cancelled (or at least heavily delayed) in the future. Syfy are looking at newer stuff such as their record breaking Warehouse 13 series, which starts filming its second series in March 2010 and are more than happy with the current ratings for SGU. Pardon the pun but an Atlantis movie is now "dead in the water".
And here's the major kicker for all you SGA lovers/ SGU haters out there: EXTINCTION (or whatever they end up calling it) WOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN MADE BASED ON THE VIEWING NUMBERS FOR STARGATE: UNIVERSE! Well, technically the SGU statistics added to the SG-1 DVD sales figures in early 2009, but you get what I'm saying. If you boycotted SGU and didn't watch it you probably harmed your chances of getting an SGA movie. Not that this really matters now as I don't think there'll be a chance in hell of it getting made... ;(
Number 2: Will SGU be cancelled and SGA brought back for the fans?
Answer: Whether Stargate fans like it or not SGU is currently going really well and has a set fan base that secures its future on the air. Should that fall at all (like Fringe and Flash Forward have done recently) then there may be some serious reconsideration. Only time will tell. As a big fan of SGU I hope it does continue, it interests me more each week and as soon as we get out of the "origin" phase that we're still seeing I think it'll be essential sci-fi viewing. Remember, if you don't like the series don't watch it. No one is holding you down and forcing you to watch the show. I know you all simply wish the producers would listen to what the majority of the public want but unfortunately that's not how things work and they obviously believed SGA had run its full course when it was cancelled. Yes it is a damn shame it's gone (I've been watching it myself almost every night this week on Sky 2) but it is gone. And it looks like that's for good now. I only hope they have the ability to do the movie in the future and don't just give up.
Number 3: Why do we need a sci-fi show that is more like reality (or Battlestar Galactica) than an actual sci-fi fantasy show?
Answer: Well, we don't actually need anything. The world wouldn't stop turning if we didn't have sci-fi... Yeah it would be f-ing boring, as sci-fi is pretty much all I watch on t.v., but you get what you're given and have to like it or lump it, we don't get to choose. Anything that gets created and shown on t.v. is a gift, if you turn that gift down then that's your decision. Reading the comment left on the first post it's clear that SGU has left a bad taste in people's mouths. Battlestar was a multiple award winning t.v. series, I mean the Wiki page just showing the awards it received and was nominated for is huge, and it's obvious that people will find similarities between BSG and SGU because of their concept, content and style. I've said it before but that was probably their intention! Bottom line - BSG made money. If you didn't like Battlestar it stands to reason that you might not like SGU.
I personally think that the franchise is taking the Star Trek route. The original Star Trek series and movies can be considered to be the Roland Emmerich Stargate movie, solidifying the plot device and characters in the sci-fi community consciousness. The Next Generation is SG-1 with a basic "explore the universe via a not yet possible technological device" (The Enterprise and the Stargate itself) expanding the history, the characters and the humour with a fresh new look. Deep Space Nine is Atlantis with a solitary outpost space station teetering on the brink of imminent disaster each week with enemies and allies being forged each season. And finally Voyager is SGU. A group of people stranded immeasurable distances from home on a space ship (Voyager and Destiny) with no apparent way to get home and personal human emotions and stresses sometimes being at the heart of the episodes. With Enterprise (the series not the ship) you could possibly say that was Stargate Infinity, the doomed animated series that was utter kack and very unwanted by fans of the franchise. I liked Enterprise but many, many fans didn't!
And to answer the other part of that question, the "reality" bit, well we've had two Stargate shows with mind blowing crazy sci-fi outlandishness. They lasted a total of 15 years (adding them together end to end, not how long they ran, and not including the ongoing DVD movies) and we're still guaranteed yet another SG-1 movie in the next two years regardless, so it's not all dead yet. The creators of SGU have now broken the mold and gone more adult/ real, but it's still sci-fi. The original fans or SG-1 are now roughly 12 years or so older and by looking at the age range of those who sat around me at the 2007 and 2008 SG-1 talks in San Diego they were all in their 30's, 40's and even 50's! I didn't see any kids (although the event is more for teenagers and over I suppose). The SG demographic probably conveys an older audience and therefore they stepped up to the plate with a daring and risky attempt to give those fans something they'd now love and connect with on a more personal basis. It worked with me and I know for sure it worked on a load of my mates, and a load of you that visit this blog. Unfortunately it alienated the rest with a vengeance! But hey, everyone is entitled to their say and their opinion and I know that if I said a show was rubbish there would be an army of fans that would shoot me down in seconds! I mean I gave Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 10/10 when others were panning it and calling it utter tripe. Sometimes I'm easily pleased, with SGU this could also be said!
Number 4: Why didn't they do this, why didn't they do that?
Answer: This question relates to those of you that have mentioned things like Wormhole drives to rescue the stranded crew of Destiny, why Atlantis wasn't fully explored, why the crew in SGU are all whining babies etc etc.
Good questions of course, I mean I sit there watching t.v. programmes every week with the missus and we both always say out loud "hold on a minute, why didn't that do this? Why didn't they just use that, it would have sorted out their situation?". And it's frustrating to those of us that mentally place ourselves in the same position as these people, knowing what devices we would have to hand, given to us in those t.v. show universe's, and seeing those potentially easy solutions getting overlooked. The answer of course would be that you wouldn't have a t.v. show to watch if the situation was sorted that easily! Have you heard of the word "McGuffin"? Or "throw away plot device"? This is what happens in the world of t.v. and movies.
Remember in SG-1 where the Zat (Zatnikatel) Goa'uld stun guns would stun with one shot, kill with two and then totally eliminate an object with the third shot? Well that was one such McGuffin that unfortunately had to be written out of the show because that third Zat shot would have sorted way too many problems SG-1 would face in the future seasons. It worked for what they needed it for and then got thrown out. That's only one such plot hole created and then disposed of for the movement of the series, there are dozens more, and not just in the Stargate franchise obviously.
With the Wormhole drive it was specifically mentioned by executive producer for Atlantis 'Paul Mullie' with the following comment:
"A wormhole drive is just that -- a drive that sends the ship through a wormhole, like a person stepping through an active gate. The advantage being that you don't 'travel' through hyperspace for hours on end. You get de-molecularized, or whatever you want to call it, and then spit out at the other end a few seconds later. It's basically instantaneous, which is why I needed it as a device in ['Enemy At the Gate']. Some people have complained that it was a bit of a deus ex-machina, to which I don't really have much of a defense.
"At one point, Brad was thinking about using this as a set-up for a similar drive in Stargate Universe, but he's since changed his mind. But since it IS set up now, Joe and I do intend to use it as part of the story for the Atlantis movie."
With issues like these you just have to bite the bullet and go with what you're seeing and know that you'll always find problems like this, purposefully or not. Lost for instance is littered with incongruities and "but hold on" moments and it doesn't reduce my love of that show.
With the exploration of Atlantis (and now the Destiny) you have to imagine that the creators had to presume they'd have maybe 10 seasons to play with (based on SG-1's run and popularity) so exploring their home base was always going to left for filler episodes where they couldn't think of anything more exciting outside the base to make up a good story. Little did they know that they'd only get 5 seasons with no prior warning of getting shut down. A little mystery will always be held back on any show and with Atlantis it was the city itself. The same thing is now happening on SGU with the massive size of Destiny holding many, many secrets. Some of the best episodes from SGA mind you were gained from such discoveries based solely on a new room found the first few minutes. "The Tao of Rodney" springs to mind. The one where they find a room with an Ancient device that zaps Rodney and gives him superpowers... Frickin excellent episode, one of my all time favourites. Technically SGU have just found a room with a device that has some mystery potential, but if you haven't seen that episode yet I won't say any more. I'm sure the exploration of Atlantis was planned for the later seasons and it's most definitely one of the major plot devices for SGU going forward, so we'll see.
As to why they're all whining and not getting on with it: The point of SGU so far is to show that these specific people that are doing most of the whining or having psychological breakdowns in one way or another are the people that weren't supposed to be in this situation and just aren't suited for it in any way. I mean it's not even really a 'mission' that they could have prepared for as they never knew what was on the other end of the Icarus Stargate when they were forced to go through it at the last minute. Most of those people probably thought they'd be home for tea when they went to work that morning, not traversing the stars uncontrollably on the brink of death for the foreseeable future! Yes there are scientists, soldiers and strong willed bureaucrats on board but most people turn to useless piles of crap when their world's are turned upside down, their control and their comforts are lost and they're separated from their loved ones.
Have you never been p'd off when your bus was late? When you've been stranded in an airport when your plane was delayed? When you've been sat at a family get together with certain people you can't stand? Imagine that tenfold with the fear of death, the hatred of certain people that you can't get away from, over-active libidos, the loss of friends, fear of the unknown etc etc, the list goes on. Even the hardest soldier who's seen the worst in people and life would have a hard time coping in the situation the Destiny crew are facing in the series. Personally I feel like I connect more with the SGU characters than most on other shows. Some of the stuff we're seeing actually happens to some of us and it strikes a chord, sci-fi show or not, and it's great for me and certain others to experience. The cast is more-than-capable rather than being outstanding and the special effects are so far born of a recessional period in our history, but things like that should change and evolve if the show is given time to do so. And I don't care about that at the moment as I love it for what it currently is.
If you hate SGU so be it. No one will be able to change your mind, you know what you like and what you like is what you know. You might like certain meals all the time and not try different things when they're offered. Sometimes if you do try something new you'll think it's not to your liking, but then it grows on you and you want to have it again. Sometimes you'll simply spit it out and think it's the worst thing you've ever tasted and never go back to it. It's all down to personal preference and we are all built differently. SGU is sci-fi Marmite, you either love it or you hate it. I hate Marmite, but love SGU!
If you feel strongly about this particular subject feel free to guest blog by e-mailing kryptonianwarrior@ymail.com and I'll post it up. If I get numerous e-mails I'll amalgamate them into one post for you. Just keep it clean, comprehensive and interesting and it'll go up. Make sure you give me your handle/ chosen fake name etc so we know who you are.

ARE YOU GOING TO BE LEFT 4 DEAD AGAIN??

For us poor BRIT'S it's been an agonising few days waiting for LEFT 4 DEAD 2 whilst it appears some of our friends over the pond have already been zombie slaying since the 17TH, but the 20TH is almost upon us and I'm waiting with baited breath for my copy of L4D2 to hit my doormat........this is one game I'm not missing out on so made sure I put a pre-order in!!!!
It appears we're going to have massive missions (5 rounds rather than 4) and there will be 5 chapters and not 4. More guns, melee weapons, and lots of new "special infected" to smash. I have also just read that there will be "boomer bile grenades" and defibrillators to bring fellow players "back from the dead"; whether this will be in the same way as first aid kits and reviving your team as before is not clear.
It's also confirmed that there will be avatar awards for the 360 version.........about time too!!! Below are some of those that may be earned from the game, but have not been confirmed by VALVE.
Med Kit - "earned by beating all five campaigns"
Bull Shifters Shirt - "earned by winning 10 games of Versus"
Left 4 Dead 2 Shirt - "earned by winning 10 games of Scavenge"
Zombie Hand shirt - "earned by killing 10,000 Infected"
Depeche Mode Shirt - "earned by rescuing Gnome Chompski from the Dark Carnival"

I CAN'T WAIT...............I've just finished reading "The Walking Dead" Volume 10 and need to smash some zombies!!!!!

NEW JUSTICE LEAGUE ANIMATED MOVIE
Even though MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT rule the cinemas across the globe, DC seem to be firmly planting their feet into the amination market and brushing aside the competition.
Having seen GREEN LANTERN: First flight, and many of the other releases, I'm eager to see the next one. CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS.
Two JUSTICE LEAGUES battle each other across two planets and smash and trash the place in the process.....can't wait.
Enjoy the trailer.
REVENGE CINEMA RETURNS
After the shocking pile of crap that GAMER turned out to be, it appears that Gerrard Butler has returned to form (or will do on release) with his next revenge fuelled piece of cinema LAW ABIDDING CITIZEN.
Watch the trailer and pre book your tickets!!!
CLASH OF THE TITANS - NEW TRAILER
Here's the new CLASH trailer. I wasn't sure about this to start with, but I think it could be a winner. With the PRINCE OF PERSIA movie popping into your local cinema next year too, it looks like swords and sorcery are going to be the "IN THING" in 2010.
PC R.I.P...
Hi all,
I didn't get the chance to post this weekend as my PC went and died on me... Unfortunately she went completely kaput (probably through ultra heavy usage!) leaving me suffering from withdrawal symptoms and no access to the Internet or blog. OK so I had my trusty netbook, but updating the blog from that is a bit of a pain and I feel far more comfortable on a proper desktop PC with my big old monitor.
Now I own a heaving beast of a machine which is about 4 times as powerful as my old one, so I'll be back to posting within the next couple of days hopefully.
Now I'm off to dig a hole in the back garden for Betty, the previous computer, who died well before her time. :(

Kick-Ass Movie Teaser Trailer
A Dark Knight PostIt looks like new superhero movie KICK-ASS will quite literally kick ass.... although as we all know trailers can hide a p*ss poor movie. Roll on April 2010 for a definitive answer. Until then, enjoy the trailer.

Family Guy/ Superfriends Video
Although I watch the odd episode on T.V. and have bought season 1-6 on DVD (still only watched a small portion of season 1 so far) I do love Family Guy.
I've never seen this video clip of the Family Guy characters reenacting the Superfriends intro, but when I came across it this week I just had to share it... it rocks! The poster of the Youtube vid has also kindly incuded the original Superfriends intro embedded into the clip so that you can see how accuracte Mr McFarlane and his team actually got the whole thing.
Enjoy!

Fan Made World's Finest Trailer

I love fan made films and fake trailers. The time and effort some put into these things is crazy and there's always a select few that I'll post on here if I like them.
This one below was created by Souperboyx and posted up on Youtube. It features Tom Welling's Smallville version of Clark Kent/ The Blur/ Superman, and Christian Bale's Dark Knight version of Batman.
I wish I had the time and effort to create one of these videos myself!
Ben 10: Alien Swarm - Release Date & Trailer

So the time has finally come Ben 10 fans! On November the 28th at 10am Ben 10: Alien Swarm premieres on Cartoon Network (in the UK at least).
I've posted a couple of times about this live action Alien Force spin off movie because I'm a huge Ben 10 fan and so are my two daughters.
I'm currently watching the new season 3 show on Cartoon Network every weekday at 5pm with the kids and I have to admit that it's a really great show. It's a marketing bonanza of course, with new aliens and character changes happening left, right and centre to get all those new toys made, but it's enjoyable T.V. nonetheless.
Synopsis:
Ben 10: Alien Swarm follows teenage hero Ben Tennyson as he breaks ranks from the Plumbers (a secret organization that battles alien forces) to help Elena, a mysterious young woman, uncover an alien threat to our world. Joining him on his adventures are Gwen and Kevin, super-powered heroes in their own right, who must trust each other’s instincts to help save the day.
Here's the new trailer for Alien Swarm below but if you want a better res version you can get it HERE at TV.com. Enjoy!
Kick-Ass Movie - New Posters

IGN debuted 4 new Kick-Ass posters on their site last week and it's got everyone quite hyped. The word from those that have seen the movie already is that it's an awesome film and a great adaptation of the comic book.
I've never read the comic but I'm intent on doing so after hearing all the good stuff about it and the movie's looking pretty funky.
You can find all the individual posters HERE at IGN.
Charisma Carpenter In Legend Of The Seeker & Expendables
Ever wonder what happened to Buffy and Angel's hottest brunette; 'Cordelia' aka Charisma Carpenter? I did until now...
Even though I've not seen her in anything since the last episode of Angel back in 2004 it seems the little lady has been quite the busy bunny. Not only has she appeared in shows like Charmed, Veronica Mars, CSI and Greek (none of which I watch, hence why I haven't seen her since 2004!) she's now going to guest star in the T.V. series Legend of the Seeker as Triana and then we'll see her as Lacy in Sly Stallone's Expendables.
I was always a huge fan of Charisma's and when I met her at LFCC a few years back I almost had a heart attack getting her to sign her Playboy release, I was so hyped to meet her it was unreal. Sufficed to say I've put some pics of her below in Legend of the Seeker (nice leathers!), Expendables (with Sly and Jason Statham next to her) and one of my favourite shots of her at the bottom.

Smallville Season 9 News & Pics - Spoliers
A few pics below from some of the upcoming episodes from Smallville season 9 to once again whet your appetite, with a few bits of new info as well. Beware of SPOILERS.
Julian Sands as a younger Jor-El in the episode "Kandor", shown here before the destruction of Krypton. The Jor-El that comes to Earth is simply a clone, just like the other Kandorians, stored in the sphere Tess unlocks at the end of season 8. He technically is Jor-El, just like Zod is Zod, but they only have knowledge up to the moment their DNA was stored in the sphere. Jor-El hadn't had a son at that point, and Zod hadn't turned bad!
Callum Blue as Major Zod in "Kandor". The episode shows some history as to why he turns bad and his relationship with Jor-El.
Allison Scagliotti and David Gallagher as Jayna and Zan... The WONDER TWINS from the episode called "Idol".
Wonder Twins ACTIVATE! Allison gets to turn into a Puma in the episode and said she got to hold a baby Puma on the set. Will she turn into anything else? Will Zan turn to water?
Jayna showing off her Blur t-shirt. Allison told me during Octobers MCM Expo that her costume was quite Anime in nature... Now I can see what she was talking about!
Zan showing off his t-shirt too... Wannabe.

OK so her previous role/ episode wasn't epic or anything but Serinda Swan is one of the hottest Smallville babes ever, confirmed by the few pics of her below. It'll be good to see her return in the episode called "Warrior". I wonder whether she'll be returning as a Justice League member and if we'll see some of the other JL crew too?

How To Train Your Dragon - NewTrailer

Dreamworks' new movie after their successes with the Shrek movies and Kung Fu Panda will be "How to train your Dragon". It's a cute little movie not unlike Dragonheart in its concept, where a Viking land fuelled by a Dragon/ Human war spawns an unlikely friendship between a boy named Hiccup and a young Dragon named Toothless.

The film stars the voice talents of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Gerard Butler, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Craig Ferguson. Release is March 2010.
You can visit the official site HERE.
Enjoy the trailer!
Resident Evil: Afterlife - First On-Set Pics
Not much to look at really, but here are two on-set photos from the new Resident Evil movie "Afterlife" currently shooting in Toronto.
The first image shows Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, Milla Jovovich as Alice and Ali Larter as Claire Redfield (who looks hotter than Milla sporting that long red hair) with the second showing they're on what looks like a ship with a bunch of non zombies in white outfits? Possible test subjects for Wesker? We'll have to wait and see.

Prince Of Persia Movie - Trailer

Finally we have a full movie trailer for the upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal video game adaptation movie of Prince of Persia (The Sands of Time).
I've only posted the B trailer below as it's slightly better than the first A trailer released a day or two before it. Either way you'll get the gist of the movie and what it'll be like. You could safely say that this will be the best video game adaptation ever made, but then that isn't saying much when all the others have been pretty damn bad...
Enjoy!
Even More Pics Of Megan Fox!
OK, so you're probably sick of Megan Fox by now, but we're certainly not!
Here are a few taster shots from some galleries I came across today which should fulfill your Megan-pics addiction... for this weekend at least.
Never has a surname suited one so well...except for that Mr. Cock that I once served whilst working in a bank, because of course he was one!
You can view Megan's Rolling Stone outtake gallery HERE from Egotastic and a great gallery with loads of pics of her HERE from Foxy-Megan.

Sir Anthony Hopkins Cast As Odin In Marvel's Thor Movie!

It seems that the legend that is Sir Anthony "Hannibal Lector" Hopkins has now been confirmed as playing Thor's Asgardian father Odin, chief of the Norse Gods (the Aesir) in the new Marvel movie.
Although it's great that such a high profile and much loved English actor such as Sir Anthony has been cast in a comic book movie like Thor, is he the right actor for this role? Visually I think he could be as you only have to put a white beard and Viking helmet on him and he fits the pics of Odin quite well. But I'd heard old rumours about actors such as Brian Blessed and John Rhys-Davies had also being considered. When you look at someone like Brian Blessed, with his stature, his booming voice and overall Norse-like aura that he's always exuded, you can't help but think he'd have been perfect... if not a little too campy and theatrical, for the role.
We'll see just how cool this movie looks with its impressive cast and amazing sets and special effects very soon, but for now it's good news to see these Marvel movies picking up speed.
Videos From The Crimson Blur...
A Crimson Blur PostHi all, it's been a while from me but I have some stuff for you all to view.
You may have seen the trailer already for this video game but I have attached it anyway for the upcoming Video Game 'Ironman 2'. This game looks pretty good and I hope it has a good story line to it and the game play is good, I never got to play the first one so I'm looking forward to it.
I'm a massive fan of Halo and I bought the new Halo game ODST recently. This is a good game and I really enjoyed it, its only fault is that i felt it was too short as I finished it in 6 hours, but it is really interesting as I'm wondering if the Rookie in this game is actually Master Chief so I don't think this is the end of Halo or Master Chief himself...
Also I have found a trailer for the Halo Legends Anime, this will be out on DVD and Blue Ray February 2010 so check the trailer and buy it as I reckon this will be a good DVD to buy.
This last video below contains some of the fittest women you will ever see at a convention and I want to go to Comic Con very badly!
Enjoy!
(I met that first Wonder Woman at the 2008 Comic Con... Very nice!!!) KW
Well that's all from me for the time being so I will speak to you all soon!

The End Of 24?

Kiefer Sutherland has told Sky News that the hit television show 24 could carry on, even if his character Jack Bauer is killed off...
The star is busy filming Day 8 of the smash series, which reaches UK screens in January, amid huge speculation it may be the last.
"I've always said its certainly possible," said Kiefer, when asked if someone else - like new cast member Freddie Prinze Junior - might take over if Bauer bows out.
"All the actors have always understood there's a strong chance they will die in the context of the show. But the real star is the time format."
Sutherland says fans will see a different side of Bauer in the new season, which is set in New York.
"The start is very different from any show that we've done," the actor told Sky News. "At least for Jack it is very quiet.
"When the day does start to go bad he really does get involved, and not because he's a part of it but because he's being pulled into it.
"That resistance is something you're not used to seeing, and it's interesting to see what pushes him towards actually taking care of the responsibilities of that day."
All the cast are sworn to secrecy over the plot details, but 42-year-old Sutherland insists they are as much in the dark as the fans.
"To be honest once we get started on a season we focus solely on that scene," he said.
The actor went on: "There are so many people that will be part of that decision on whether 24 continues.
"In regards to Jack dying? Well eventually, he will die one day. I just don't know whether he'll be 87 or he'll be 43."
Day 8 of 24 starts on Sky1 in January.
Boy wonder!

New Posts Coming Soon!
Sorry for the long gap between posts recently. Unfortunately not only have I been researching/ sorting out stuff for a new (huge) endeavour of mine but the family have been very ill.
First off it was my missus and youngest with some sort of cold/ bug and then me over the last week. My youngest just re-enacted that famous scene from The Exorcist for the second time this week, but this time round it was epic... We've just spent the last couple of hours cleaning up. Too much info I know, but it was unbelievable!
Anyway, hopefully you'll see a number of posts from me and a couple of other League members over the next couple of days once the sickness has died down. You'll also see a few minor changes to the blog aesthetically, which are simply an attempt at polishing off a few things that niggle me.
Check back before the weekend!
