Regardless of the wage issues I posted up about recently it would seem that The Simpsons has been granted another two seasons (at least) taking its run up to 25 seasons!
The move to extend the series follows a bitter wage row between the voice cast and Fox, where a loss of up to 40% of the actors pay would have been actioned to keep the show running. No details have emerged as to how the dispute was resolved and what the wage agreement is now, but either way we still get another two seasons out of the deal, so something went right in the end!
In the words of Homer Simpson - "Woo Hoo"!
