I'd mentioned a while ago that Johnny
Depp had been cast in the upcoming Tim Burton adaptation of Alice in Wonderland (not exactly original casting for Tim, there are other actors in the world Mr. Burton!) but we hadn't seen any images released yet. Although there are some non believers saying this is simply a
photoshopped fake the image below could well be the first of Johnny in his Mad Hatter getup. Judge for yourself...
The 3D flick will use a mix of live action and performance capture
CGI.
Depp will appear alongside Anne Hathaway as The White Queen and Tim Burton’s wife, Helena
Bonham Carter as The Red Queen. Also featured: Michael Sheen, Mia
Wasikowska, Matt Lucas,
Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Alan
Rickman.
