This was on the cards for a while but it seems that Fox has made the move to cancel their Dino/time travel family show Terra Nova.
OK so it wasn't the best show on Earth, but it was good watchable TV and it had a lot of potential, especially with the surprises left open at the end of the last episode of season 1. Unfortunately that will never be seen... Or will it?
Netflix, the movie/TV rental company, are supposedly looking into taking Terra Nova over for themselves as well as Arrested Development which they acquired recently, which means there's the very real possibility of seeing a second season in the future. We'll just have to wait and see. For now the series is cancelled though...
UPDATE: 27/03/12 - Turns out Netflix passed on Terra Nova after all which means unless someone else picks it up soon it'll go the way of the dinosaurs... Sorry. Bad pun!
