Marvel's next few live-action movies (named Phase 3) include Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange, and the latter has recently created a rumour surrounding the lead role... Man of the moment Joseph Gordon-Levitt is said to be the frontrunner for the role of Sorcerer Supreme as execs internally are discussing him as their first choice.
To be honest I don't see Joseph in this role at all, I see an older actor like Viggo Mortensen or Jason Isaacs, but then I said that about Captain America and they ended up with Chris Evans (not that I'm complaining about that casting choice at all).
So anyway, Doctor Strange is coming whether we want it or not. Could we see a huge character line-up for Avengers Assemble 3? That would be awesome...
