Torchwood: Miracle Day - Pics And Info (Spoiler)

So then... Torchwood: Miracle Day is almost upon us and apart from the various pics below (love the pic of Gwen with her gun and her daughter) we have info that may shock fans...

Everyone will be made immortal (or at least no one can die) except Jack... He'll be made mortal by the effects of the new plot and will therefore give a reversed dynamic to the ongoing storyline. Before he couldn't die, now he's the only one in the world that can!

Does that mean that Jack will be killed off by the end of the new series? Who knows!

X-Men Destiny - New Video Game Trailer

The new trailer for the upcoming video game 'X-Men: Destiny' is below and showcases a whole bunch of characters and powers.

Along with playable characters Aimi Yoshida and Grant Alexander, players will be able to tap the talents of an as-yet unnamed mutant who could be sporting the third matter manipulation ability players haven't seen yet in previous videos or screenshots.

Additionally, Marvel.com's latest info about Aimi reveals that players will have the option to upgrade not only their characters' X-Gene metered powers, but also their costumes. Aimi's X-Men uniform suggests all three characters could undergo some serious cosmetic changes as they choose a path of good or evil during the game's various decision moments as written by comics scribe Mike Carey.

Artist Joe Madureira Back With 'Avenging Spider-Man' Comic Series!

There are a few artists that I absolutely worship when it comes to comics and one of them is Joe Madureira...

Joe is back in November along with writer Zeb Wells with a new comic series called 'Avenging Spider-Man'. The new run will focus on Spidey's role as a superhero rather than on his soap opera life and will star famous faces such as Red Hulk and various Avengers (as you'll see below) and will be 'action-packed'.

Awesome... :P

Joel Silver Turning Cartoon Network's 'Ben 10' into Live-Action Movie!

Producer Joel Silver, who is well known for bringing us blockbuster movies such as Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Matrix and Sherlock Holmes has just announced a deal with Cartoon Network to bring Ben 10 to the big screen as a new live-action movie...

Considering that the previous live-action TV films from the franchise, in my opinion, have been bloody terrible, the news that Silver Pictures (Joel's production company) has taken this project on is extremely exciting to any Ben 10 fan. Which I am, even at 33 years old!

I think as long as we see a huge amount of CGI alien forms and some serious action, cutting out any cutesy/ corny crap, this could be a great movie. More news as it gets released!

Chinese Worker Scares Colleagues But Coming To Work Dressed As Iron Man Mark I!

My Mum made me aware of a news report the other day that I found quite amusing.

Chinese Telecoms worker Wang Kang left his colleagues speechless (and some screaming - no joke) when he turned up for work dressed in his homemade Iron Man Mark I costume.

The $450 50kg suit which took 25 year old Wang 3 months to make, primarily out of foam, looked so menacing walking through the corridors of his workplace that most people froze on the spot when they saw him whilst others that now Wang happily followed behind him laughing at all the other reactions. Looks like he had fun either way!

Kudos to Wang for making news doing something others can only dream of at their boring jobs... :P

Fredrik Larsson's Music Medley Videos Rock!

I only discovered "FreddeGredde" a couple of days ago but supposedly he's well know online for his various music medley videos on Youtube.

Here are 3 below that I thought were quite cool. The one with the clones is freakishly awesome. although we've seen this type of thing before.

Enjoy!

Neverland - Trailer

Here's the first trailer for Sky Movies' Peter Pan prequel "Neverland".

Directed by Nick Willing, the film — which stars Anna Friel, Rhys Ifans, Keira Knightley, Charlie Rowe, and Bob Hoskins, who reprises his role as Smee — tells the untold story of the events leading up to the children’s tale we all know and love.

The video contains some of the most famous vid snippets of recent times and may confuse you if you've never seen the full versions!

Conan The Barbarian - New 30 Second Trailer

Below is a new 30 second trailer for the upcoming Conan The Barbarian movie with a few more unseen bits of footage. I can't get too excited about this at all as I'm a hardcore Arnie fan and Jason Momoa will never be the barbarian he was in my eyes. Still, it could be a good film in its own right with some massive fight scenes and giant CGI snakes etc... We'll see.

Cubeecraft Boba Fett...

Cubeecraft.com recently posted up a new Boba Fett model for people to download, print and build and it's awesome. I'm going to do this as soon as I can and have him sitting on my desk at work.

You can download the printable .jpg file HERE

Green Lantern Video Game - New Trailer

A brand new trailer here for the upcoming Green Lantern video game which features a load of new hard-light constructs that Hal Jordan uses to battle his numerous foes. I think I'll be buying this one!!!

Rock Of Ages - New Video Game Trailer

This is a game I've only heard about a couple of times in the past year but it's got a huge buzz behind it. Basically you control a rock rolling through various beautiful, classic-looking, artistic landscapes, destroying almost everything in your path... Strange but it looks great!

Angry Birds In Real Life... Courtesy Of T-Mobile!

As the title of the post says, this is a video advert from T-Mobile featuring the unbelievably popular mobile game Angry Birds in real life!

The Inbetweeners Movie - Teaser Trailer!

Oh yes...

Doctor Who Season 6 Return Teaser Trailer...

Happy 50th Birthday - Michael J Fox!

The legend that is Michael J Fox turned 50 today and we at both Red Sun Comics & Collectables and Kryptonian Warrior would like to extend our birthday wishes.

Mr. Fox is a much loved celebrity for all of us who not only rocked the Back to the Future movies but is also a fantastic actor and voice artists and a hero to many with his ongoing battle with, and campaigning for, Parkinson's disease which started all the way back in 1990.

Happy Birthday Mikey!

First Official Poster For The New Three Musketeers...

First Images Of Rebooted DC Comic Titles...

No.

That's my comment on the below pics - "no". I'm not happy but at the same time I know this won't last for long until the whole thing is reversed either through "retconning" the whole lot or someone waking up in the shower and realising it was all a bad dream (remember Dallas? Ah those were the days!).

So anyway, in order from top to bottom we now have Batwing aka David Zavimbi, a new Batman of Africa, part of the new Batman Inc line, then a new Night Wing costume for Dick Grayson (who - SPOILER - looks like he'll be stepping down as the current Gotham Batman to take back his old identity), then Red Hood and the Outlaws which is a team led by Red Hood aka Jason Todd featuring Arsenal and Starfire, then the new Teen Titans featuring Wonder Girl, Superboy, Red Robin (Tim Drake), Kid Flash and two other females I'm not sure of. I would have said Starfire if she wasn't with the Red Hood, and the cyber spider thing in the bottom left? No idea. Natasha Irons maybe? I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Oh and the bottom one is just to reference the fact that the new DC continuity is supposedly giving Barbara Gordon (AKA the original Batgirl and now Oracle) her legs back too... Cop out!!!

Action Figure Manufacturer "NECA" Obtains Valve License!

If you know nothing about NECA (the action figure manufacturer) or indeed Valve (the video game company) then you won't be excited at all to know that the two have just signed a deal to produce action figures, toys, board games, accessories and apparel based on Valve's games such as Half Life 1 & 2, Portal 1 & 2, Team Fortress 1 & 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 and more.

This is incredibly good news for gaming fans who are also collectors, like me...

I want Left 4 Dead stuff more than anything else I can think of!!! :P

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallow Part 2: 11 New Posters!

Multiple E3 Video Game Trailers And Console News...

Loads of videos below for numerous upcoming video games and consoles... Wow.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - New TV Spot Video

Yet another short TV spot for the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon. A few bits of new footage for what has to be one of my most highly anticipated movies of 2011 (besides Captain America of course!).

Blade Anime - Video

It may be in Japanese but the video below is the first look at the brand new Blade anime series that launches in Japan in July. Whether it gets translated and released in the US/UK is another matter.

Reports say that Blade will be joined by Noah Van Helsing, his dog Razor, vampire hunter Makoto and our old friend Deacon Frost as the big bad (a character originally played by Stephen Dorff in the original live-action Wesley Snipes film).

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Joining G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes?

It's being reported that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in talks to join the cast of the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel "Cobra Strikes" for a summer 2012 release. Johnson's role will be that of "Roadblock" who featured in the original series... Sounds like the perfect part for the mahusive man mountain the Rock currently is (did you see him in Fast Five? With the beard? :P ).

No other cast members have been 100% confirmed a this time but reports suggest that we'll be seeing familiar faces including Byung-hun Lee as Storm Shadow, Ray Park as Snake Eyes and Channing Tatum as Duke again at least.

We'll have to wait and see what happens!

Doctor Who Set To Return With A Seventh Season With Matt Smith!

Good news for Doctor Who fans! - The hit TV series has just had a seventh season confirmed with 14 new episodes coming our way... And Matt Smith is signed!

Good news indeed.

The only difference will no doubt be that Amy and Rory will be gone and either a new companion will join the show or River Song will finally start her adventures with him as previously referenced in the last two seasons. Either way it's great to hear Doctor Who will continue. :)
