As a massive Jurassic Park fan I'm pleased to be able to spread the word that the fourth instalment of the Dino-franchise has had its release date set for July 13th 2014 (in the US)!
Steven Spielberg has signed on to produce but as of yet no director (or actor casting) has been announced. The film will be a 3D movie (as if anything isn't any more) and has just had its most recent script draft handed in by 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' scribes Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, which is good news considering what a surprise hit Apes was for me!
The only real thing I'd like to hear now is that some of the original movie cast sign on. Can we have some more Jeff Goldblum? Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Ariana Richards & Joseph Mazzello? C'mon, who wouldn't want to see the Murphy kids, now all grown up, come back as adults to the franchise? Lets re-enact some green wobbly jelly on a spoon again!
