Working in Red Sun you get to talk to a lot of people about geeky-cool stuff almost all day, it's a perk of the job and something that I could never have done in previous jobs like working for a mobile phone company or working in a bank.
At this point over 550 of those customers and their friends have joined our Facebook page (thank you!) and we also have about 27 people following this blog (again thank you) and we'd like to get to know some of you and your geeky sides a little more. The best way to do this is a quick interview that we will post up on this blog either every day or every week, depending on how many responses we get, and I'm sure it'll be an interesting read all round.
All you have to do is answer the below questions and add one normal picture of you (normal everyday pic) and then one geeky (costumed etc) and send the whole lot to info@redsuncc.com and we'll have them up on here asap.
Questions:
Describe yourself briefly, who are you?
What's your idea of a perfect day?
Do you consider yourself a geek/fanboy/fangirl and why?
What is your most common dream/nightmare?
What are your 3 most prized possessions?
If you were able to choose one superpower what would it be and why?
Name your top 3 of all time of the following and why?:
Superheroes
Movies
Kids cartoons
TV series'
Who's the most famous person you've ever met and how did you meet them and/or who was your favourite?
What toy/collectable would you love to see made that has never been done before and why?
What's your favourite video game of all time on any console or on any arcade machine and why?
Finally - If you've been to Red Sun Comics & Collectables what would you change or add that isn't there already?

Primeval Series 4 Webisodes... Watch Before The Series Starts!
Below are five Primeval series 4 webisodes which act as story fillers between the 3rd and 4th series which you should supposedly watch before the full season starts on the 1st of Jan.
Enjoy!
Fantastic Four Reduced To Three... Who Will Die?
Now that I own my own comic shop I find that knowing about past, present and future comic story lines is a must rather than a hobby.
I've been through a few big story lines over my time like the Onslaught Saga, Age of Apocalypse, Amalgam Age, House of M, World War Hulk, Civil War, Dark Reign, Siege, all the DC Crisis', The Death and Return of Superman, 52 and Blackest Night/Brightest day etc and then recently we've even had the death of Captain America, the supposed 'death' of Batman and much much more.
One comic I didn't think would or could be touched in any major way was The Fantastic Four. But no, they've gone and done it now and within the next two issues one of the original four members - Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, Johnny Storm or Sue Richards will die...
Yep that's right Marvel are killing off one of the Fantastic Four (although for how long is unknown seeing as almost every comic hero makes a return sooner or later) and the question for fans is "Who's going to die". Personally my money is on Sue as she'd have the most emotional impact on the team, although Reed would be a devastating loss to the Marvel Universe as he's the smartest guy they've got... but then again my personal biggest loss would be Ben a.k.a The Thing as I've loved him as a character for over two decades. Johnny? Bah, kill him off, see if I care! Oh and by the way all the current clues point to him anyway so here's hoping!
Either way it's a bold move for Marvel killing off a member of their premier family super team but I have no doubt that within 1 year whoever dies will be back... probably after travelling through time in some way or another like every other comic hero killed in the last few years!

The Beauty Of Pixar - Video
My family and I are Pixar movie fanatics... well, in truth they love them and I'm probably best described as the 'fanatic' in the house I suppose!
Over the last 15 years Pixar studios have made some of the best kids movies (or movies in general) of all time and so far not one of them has failed in the pursuit of reducing me to tears for one reason or another. I think if I put my mind to it I could pinpoint the exact moment in every Pixar film where I blubbed like a 4 year old girl...
Anyway this video below is a tribute to "The Beauty of Pixar" by Leandro Copperfield which contains over 500 hand-picked scenes from the various movies, showcasing just how magical and beautiful these animated films can be.
Enjoy!

Family Guy Illusion Gif...
This has been on the web for a while now but I rediscovered it the other day and I'm still amazed how it works.
Basically stare at the dot in the centre of the negative image (pink hulked-out Peter Griffin) until the picture changes colour (it's a .gif so it'll change back and forward by itself every 10 seconds). The gimmick is that you'll end up seeing the picture full colour when it changes, but look even slightly away and you'll notice that there's no colour at all... the whole thing is grey and it's just your eyes/brain doing their stuff to fool you. Nothing special but cool the first time you try it!

Tintin Movie - 3 New Pics
3 new pics from the upcoming CG Tintin movie here.
I'm not a Tintin fan at all but the missus loves the old comics/books etc so I'm sure she can't wait for it to be released!

The Cape - Video Featuring Clips And Behind The Scenes Footage...
The new superhero series "The Cape" starts soon on US TV and this video below gives us a quick look at some scenes from ep 1 & 2 and some behind the scenes footage too. Not sure what to make of this just yet but I've thoroughly enjoyed "No Ordinary Family" recently and this doesn't look any worse than that, so I should be pleasantly surprised!
The Inbetweeners Movie?
The Inbetweeners has to be one of my favourite British TV programmes of recent years (that and Misfits of course) but until today I hadn't heard anything about a movie...
If you're like me and this news is new to you then you'll be pleased to hear that the movie follows our 4 lovable twerps as they go on a holiday to Malia after they complete their A - Levels. From all accounts it's a full 90 minutes of the same content we usually see from the series, which of course is not a bad thing at all. No exact release date is set just yet but filming began should have finished by now seeing as it began back in August 2010 with a rough launch by Summer 2011.
Can't wait to see it!
Here's a quick vid which has the boys talking a little about the film.

Thanks For The Mammaries
You are currently reading the very first post from your new Hawkgirl.
And I decided that as this blog has celebrated many a boobie, I should show some appreciation for some man boobie instead! So here, your first post from me is one showcasing the incredible 'talent' of our latest Green Lantern...
Whether you are being an absolutely butchered mercenary, a comic relief vampire hunter or an overly campy/jokey pilot, you are a beautiful man and for that, the ladies of Kryptonian Warrior salute you !
ps. if you are male and reading this then you should instantly begin appreciating Mr. Reynolds fantastic facial hair and muscle structure.
