Crush Of The Week #7

This weeks Crush Of The Week and to celebrate the release of Avengers issssss...

Chris Hemsworth

The glorious Hemsworth initially gained acknowledgement in Australia's Home & Away between 2004 and 2007, featuring in a whopping 185 episodes. 

He since rocketed into every geeks radar thanks to his role as George Kirk in 2009's Star Trek and his absolutely spot on role as Thor in both Thor and the brand spankin' new Avengers.

He's also appeared in Whedon's Cabin In The Woods and will be gracing our screens again in Snow White & The Huntsman as the Huntsman himself.

I for one, think Hemsworth pulled off an excellent George Kirk (as well as having a brilliant resemblance to on-screen son, James Kirk, aka. Chris Pine.)

Hemsworth has also totally nailed Thor. Hes absolutely perfect for the role, not only in the way he portrays him but also in appearance.

 Long blonde locks and big muscles? Mmm...

NETFLIX.....I COULD KISS YOU IF THIS IS TRUE

I will wait to see if this happens (although a renewal for TERRA NOVA never materialized) but there's an awesome rumor that NETFLIX may be courting the idea of bringing JERICHO back from the dead....AGAIN.

As a massive fan of JERICHO I was heartbroken when it was cancelled, elated when it was saved by all the loyal fans, and then gutted again when it was cancelled for the second time.

I will wait, watch, and hope that this is more than just a rumor....and seen as the original 2 seasons are doing well on NETFLIX I hope they decide to pump some life back into one of the best shows in recent years....and it'll be interesting to see how many of the original cast can be bought back.

Benedict Cumberbatch = KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!?

The internet is alive this week with supposed 100% confirmation that Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch has finally been named as original Star Trek series/movie baddie - "Khan Noonien Singh".

Rumours cropped up about this role a long time ago but I can't quite seem to pin down where the 100% confirmation stemmed from. Until there's an official statement I'll hold my breath... Oh and Leonard Nimoy might reprise his role as old Spock too... So there.
