Duke Nukem - Shrinkage Trailer

Watch, and bathe in the awesomeness of a minature Duke Nukem, his chipmunk voice (swearing and running especially) and all the havok that can ensue from shrinking bad guys, or Duke being being shrunk himself. Awesome...

Warning - NSFW

Green Lantern - New Poster And Banner

Two new Green Lantern images here for you, one a poster and the second a hi-res banner. Click on either for a bigger version.

Enjoy!

X-Men: First Class - 3 New Character Profile Trailers

Here below are 3 new character profile trailers for X-Men: First Class featuring footage from the movie for Banshee, Havok and Beast. Still not 100% about this movie, especially how they've screwed around with the source material and the characters, but these videos do help a little!

Conan The Barbarian - First Full Trailer

Don't get me wrong, I loved the original Arnie version of Conan the Barbarian... But watching this new trailer with Jason Momoa in the lead role does nothing for me, and almost comes off looking like another straight-to-DVD rip off with a few more CGI effects... We'll have to wait and see if it's any good when it's released this August...

Awesome Trailer For Call Of Duty: Black Ops - Escalation Pack With Famous Faces!

This is just totally frickin awesome... I swear to God when Buffy comes out I may have squealed like a little girl...

This expansion pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops entitled "Escalation" features a new Zombie mode "Call of the Dead" with famous playable actors, who all provide their voices, from various horror/action franchises including Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy), Danny Trejo (Machete), Michael Rooker (Merle from The Walking Dead) and even zombie horror directing legend George A Romero!

This is the opening intro trailer and it just rules... Oh how it rules...

Warning NSFW!

Green Lantern - New Movie Trailer

Here's the second full movie trailer for Green Lantern which has minimal, but impressive, updates to the original.

Enjoy!

Green Lantern Animated Series - First Look!

Produced by Bruce Timm, Green Lantern: The Animated Series will be a part of Cartoon Network's original programming. The CGI based show will feature Josh Keaton as Hal Jordan, with characters Kilowog, the Guardians of the Universe, Carol Ferris, Salaak, Sayd, Saint Walker, and Zilius Zox confirmed to appear. The main antagonists of the show will be the Red Lantern Corps, led by the villain Atrocitus, and the Manhunters.

Cobra: The Space Pirate - Promo Pic

Below is the first promo art for "Cobra: The Space Pirate", the new live-action film from director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Mirrors, Piranha 3D). It's an adaptation of a Japanese manga about a rogue space pirate who teams up with a bounty hunter on an adventure to Mars in search of lost treasure. The pirate, who isn't even cast yet, has "surgically altered his face and erased his memory to hide from enemies," but regains those memories to find the treasure.

The Three Amigos Back Together Again!

In 1986, classic comedy western "Three Amigos!" was released, starring three living legends, Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short and directed by none other than John Landis. It happens to be one of my favourite films from my childhood and I used to watch it all the time on VHS!

One month ago, 25 years later, all four of them came together for a very special Empire reunion in Los Angeles, putting their sombreros back on once more and doing their level best to reenact that salute.

Here are two pictures below that, if you've seen this film, might bring back as many memories for you as they did for me! :P

Fail Compilation Video...

Watch it and enjoy the ride... :P

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - New Epic Trailer

This new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was so epic I think I actually found myself crying by the end of it... The end is nigh...

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - New Trailer!

I don't care who hates the Transformers movie franchise... This looks excellent!

First Pic From "The Avengers"...

OK, so this isn't really a set shot, or a character shot, or a shot of anything from the actual movie at all really... It's just 4 directors-chairs from the first day of filming with the four main Avengers names on them - Thor, Iron Man Captain america and Hulk.

But still, it gives me serious goosebumps and the S.H.I.E.L.D logo in the background is just awesome...

Antje Traue Cast in Man Of Steel...

Reports from the net recently state that German actress Antje Traue (Pandorum) is close to sealing the deal to be a female villain in Zack Snyder's reboot of Superman - "Man of Steel" for Warner Bros.

It has already been officially announced that actor Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire) has been cast in the movie to play the villain General Zod, so the most logical character for Traue to play would be the character of Ursa who appeared alongside General Zod in the first two Superman movies back in the 80's. However there's no proof that just because Antje is a female the character will be Ursa so we'll just have to wait and see!!!

UPDATE - Antje has been confirmed as playing "Faora" a Kryptonian from the Superman comics who will team up with Zod to cause havoc for Kal El! (Missed that update before doing the post above!)

Ice Age: Continental Drift - New Voice Cast Announced

A new Ice Age sequel is in the works (first I've heard about it) and word from the internet states that some new cast members have been chosen with Jeremy Renner, Wanda Sykes, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Aziz Ansari and hip hop star Drake all providing their voice talents in the movie. Renner will portray Gutt, a self-styled master of the high seas while Lopez will play Shira, a sabre toothed who melts the heart of Diego (Denis Leary). The other actors' animated alter egos have yet to be officially unveiled by Fox.

The new cast members join returning franchise regulars Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Seann William Scott, Queen Latifah and Josh Peck in a story that has our favourite prehistoric animals embarking upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates!

Lou Ferrigno joins The Avengers!

Actor and World famous bodybuilder "Lou Ferrigno", has joined to the cast of The Avengers movie (2012). He will be the voice of Hulk (the CGI version).

Mark Ruffalo (Shutter Island) is playing Bruce Banner and is also doing the CGI body-capture sequences for the Hulk himself.

Lou Ferrigno originally starred in the 1978 live-action television series The Incredible Hulk as Bruce Banner’s famous alter ego. The former bodybuilder has cameoed in several subsequent Hulk films, including the 2003 Ang Lee film Hulk and Louis Leterrier film The Incredible Hulk.

Immortals - Movie Trailer

Here is the first trailer for the upcoming movie 'Immortals" which will be released on November 2011.

The story basically revolves around the Greek mythology character Theseus and his battle with the Titans but the creators have tweaked the story slightly taking away the well known minotaur and adding superpowered gods and massive 300 style battle sequences.

Immortals stars future Superman - Henry Cavill and Mickey Rourke among many others and looks to be a kick arse outing for 2011!
