I've been SUCKER PUNCHED!! Teaser trailer looks awesome!!!

This movie has all the hallmarks for a massive smash hit movie. It looks slick and beautiful just like WATCHMEN and 300 (I know that people have their reservations about both, but hands down they're pretty to look at if nothing else. Note: I love both movies!!!)

The trailer has guns, dragons, explosions and some scantily clad hotties. Check out the trailer and the teaser posters to see the hotness!!!










The girls look hot (especially Vanessa Hudgens!!!) and the action looks awesome. Just a shame to wait till March 2011 to see it..........oh well, all good things come to those that wait!!

DARKS DAYS HITS DVD SOON

I LOVED 30 Days of night........it was the first graphic novel that I had picked up for nearly 10 year and loved every page of it.

I was even happier when the movie smashed it's way into cinemas, and got goose bumps when I heard that DARK DAYS was being made...............although that turned into a bit of disappointment when I found out that it'd go straight to DVD.

I've waited with baited breath to see whether this will be a little gem of a movie like the first one, or whether it'll have that trashy "straight to DVD" vibe to it...........now that the first trailer has hit the web, I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised and looking forward to its release.

Here's the trailer and make up your own minds. I'm just happy that vampires are back in blood shedding, gore splattering, violent action that these immortal creatures of the night are known and loved for.

PRIEST trailer finally hits the net.......and looks great!!

Here's the official synopsis for Priest, which hits theaters on May 13, 2011.

PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world -- one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece's boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.

I've been looking forward to this since I rear about it over a year ago. I think Aaron ECKHART and Michelle RODRIGUEZ are awesome actors, and watching them blow the living shite outta aliens will certainly place me squarely in the cinema queue!!

The studio describes the concept thusly...

CHECK OUT THOR'S GUNS!!!!!

I saw a few pictures of Chris Hemsworth and didn't really buy the whole "I am THOR god of thunder"..........how wrong was I!!!

Check out his bloody arms and you can see the muscle that this boy has packed on to make himself into a believable THOR......I can still remember a skinny kid in aussie soap HOME AND AWAY.

I'm getting kinda excited to watch this now........roll on THE AVENGERS movie........This is gonna rock!!!!!

Mark Ruffalo Up For The Part Of Bruce Banner In Avengers?

Say it isn't so!

Yep, unfortunately even though the initial rumour I read today of our own David Tennant maybe being up for the role of Bruce Banner in the new Avengers movie it would now seem that Mark Ruffalo of all people is now in final negotiations instead.

It's an unconfirmed semi-rumour so don't take it as fact just yet, but we could be looking at the new addition to the 2012 comic wonder movie right now... Meh... I'd be more blown away by a gnat fart at the moment... No offence Markey boy.

Star Wars: A New Hope - Partially Performed On A Subway Car *CRINGE*

If I was on this tube/subway car and these guys started doing this in front of me I would seriously chuck myself head first out of the nearest available window... Not kidding, I'm a super-geek, nay "GEEK-GOD", but hell, if this happened in front of me and I had nowhere to go I'd cringe into the size of a Coke can in my seat with embarrassment.

The passengers looked like they enjoyed the show though!

Elizabeth Banks To Star As Tinkerbell In Live Action Movie - "Tink"!

Elizabeth Banks... Ahhh Elizabeth Banks... Oh how I love Elizabeth Banksssssssss.........

OK I'm awake... Oh yeah, that's it. News from Variety states that Disney studios and Miss Banks' own production company will join forces very soon to bring "Tink" (better known as Tinkerbell from Peter Pan) to the big screen in her own live-action movie.

The only news apart from Elizabeth's involvement so far is that the film will center around Tink's "mischievous nature" and will no doubt be not unlike the 2007 movie "Enchanted".

Personally I can't get enough of Elizabeth Banks (if you hadn't noticed) and I think that she'll be perfect for the role that has so far only been realised on screen and in movies through cell and CGI animation. My kids will love the film... and of course so will I!!!

Dr. Who X-mas Special To Feature Michael Gambon & Katherine Jenkins?

News on the web states that the upcoming Dr.Who Christmas special will feature both a honeymoon (obviously Amy and Rory's) and none other than Dumbledore himself - Michael Gambon.

Now the rumours are saying that as it's a Christmas special and the Doctor is sure to give the happy couple a unique and amazing honeymoon trip in the Tardis one can only come to the rapid (and maybe way off) conclusion that Gambon may well be playing Santa Claus and the honeymoon may be at the North Pole (no doubt where some nefarious alien is trying to thwart Christmas etc). It's just a rumour of course and Gambon could just be some random old guy who's part of the story, but I like the other idea!

I also like the news that classical diva (and unbelievably stunning blonde) Katherine Jenkins will also be a guest star and will be singing Christmas carols during the show.

Can't wait!

Thor Movie - Hi Res Image Of Thor, Odin And Loki...

Although all three look like rejects from a World of Warcraft cosplay convention this new pic of Thor, Odin and Loki looks pretty cool. OK so we're missing Thor's winged helmet and Loki's horned helmet (which I'm sure they could've added to the movie without them looking stupid) but all in all it's a bright and striking image which brings a little hope to my heart that Thor might not suck... "Might" being the operative word...
