Lots Of Cool Pics From Around The Web...

Just a selection of some of the cool pics I've found across the web over the last week or so... Some awesome and some funny, all are my kind of taste so enjoy. Click on each image for a larger version if you can't see it properly. ;)

More Spidey 4 Casting Rumours...

This is only really an unsubstantiated rumour at this time but it seems that Movieline.com are saying that John Malkovich is currently in negotiations to play Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 film and Anne Hathaway is the top choice to play Felicia Hardy... But, and it's a big but if the rumour is true, Felicia won't be portrayed as the much loved Black Cat character but rather a new super villain called "The Vultress". The Vultress? Seriously?

At this time I could definitely see both supposed casting choices hitting the mark (if Anne was donning the black leather of the Black Cat), although I can see someone like Ben Kingsley in the role of Vulture and someone blonde as Felicia rather than these two, but kicking out the Black Cat for a new crappy villainess? Rubbish. Is John even old enough to portray the wrinkly old Toomes Vulture?

This could also mean that the Lizard is stuck in reserve once again whilst the studio fat cats count their pennies thinking that two human roles are cheaper than the completely CGI Lizard alternative! I think they're just scared to try and bring a believable Lizard to the screen, I mean they f****d up royally with Venom so it stands to reason they'd hold off on another animalistic creature and bring more human adversaries in.

Personally I'm hoping for a Lizard/ Mysterio final confirmation as I don't see flying pensioners and hot, big breasted girls being much of a task for old Spidey in his 4th outing... I could be wrong of course.

Andy Awesome Artwork...

Over at Andyawesome.com there are a number of super-cool pieces of art for sale. You can either buy each one of these circular-styled character pieces as either acrylic paint on canvas 4 x [100cm x 100cm (40 x 40")], or as t-shirt prints, I-Phone wallpapers or PC wallpapers.

This is my sort of cool basic artwork and I love the selection of cool characters on offer. There are more than the lot I've amalgamated above too so I'm sure you'll find something to like there.

You can visit Andyawesome.com by clicking on this LINK.

More Awesome Artwork...

Having come across a fair number of awesome artists on Deviantart over the last few days I now have to strongly suggest that you take a look at each one of their pages... Some of the comic artwork on display here is absolutely amazing and as per usual I've spent hours going through them all and admiring their individual talents. You won't be disappointed if you're fans of this sort of stuff. Just click on each name below to be taken straight to their individual galleries. Enjoy!

Make Your Own Papercraft Back To The Future II Delorean!

A couple of days ago I posted up a cutesy Back to the Future II Marty McFly with his little deformed flying Delorean... Now I've found a better Delorean that's worth your time and effort if you're a fan. I'm getting my glossy photo paper ready for the printer as I type this now!

Click on this LINK for the HQ main print out page and click on this LINK for the other bits like the tyres etc.

ABOVE HQ LINKS ARE NOW DEAD.

Enjoy!

The Watchmen - Saturday Morning Cartoon Style Trailer!

Just browsing again and I came across this amazingly well done parody trailer for a Saturday morning/ Scooby Doo style Watchmen cartoon. Very cool!

Star Wars To The Opening Music Of MacGyver...

Like the post title says... nuff said.

Back To The Future 1 & 2 Comparison Video...

I just came across this old College Humor comparison video for Back to the Future 1 & 2 showing the differences between the scenes with original Jennifer - Claudia Wells, and her sequel replacement Elisabeth Shue.

I'm a big BTTF junkie, as is the missus, so I found this quite cool to watch!

I love Lego and I love the JLA and JSA, a perfect mix of cool stuff to put a smile on my face.

You can view all of Levork's custom Lego work HERE on his Flickr page. Enjoy!

Awesome Capcom Resident Evil T-Shirt...

This is probably one of the coolest t-shirts I've seen in a long time...

For Comic Con 2009 Capcom were promoting their most recent Resident Evil game "The Darkside Chronicles" by giving away these flip up Zombie t-shirts.

Basically when you flip the t-shirt up over your head (as you sometimes see footballers and other random idiots do on occasion) you end up having a fantastic scary zombie face appear from the underside...

A great way to scare the kids or your girlfriend when they least expect it, and a fantastic freebie from Capcom! I want one!

Awesome Custom Action Figures & More From Sillof...

"What if" the Avengers existed in Victorian times, in real life, or in some sort of alternate reality Steam Punk time? What if Star Wars went Steam Punk, or based in 1942 on Earth?

Sillof.com is an amazing custom creation site that shows hundreds of different custom action figures from various well known comic, T.V. and movie releases, along with statues, diorama's and props that have been created to answer these "what if" questions and show what can really be done my independent fans with some serious DIY talent.

Take a look for yourself HERE and see how much work and effort have been put into creating these awesome collections. They even have descriptions to accompany each newly created character/ figure... Very cool.

Paperart Marty McFly And Justice League...

I've always liked the westernised form of Origami named Paperart, it's a cool outlet for poor productive types who want their own paper-form character from the T.V. or movies without forking over wads of cash for overpriced actions figures or collectibles.

I recently came across a few awesome releases which tickled my fancy. First up is Marty McFly from Back to the Future II and after that are the Justice League characters that were created to be distributed in Arby's restaurants in their kids meals, very cool (shame there's no Batman to complete the set!). If you want to make a Marty paperart toy along with his flying Delorean you can download his PDF to print and cut out HERE.

There Will Be Brawl...

I've seen some strange s**t in my time but having come across this stuff this evening it's been taken to a whole other level... and no that's not a pun.

A few months back I posted images of some people dressed up in various sinister looking Nintendo character outfits and tonight I found the reason they were all dressed up. “There Will Be Brawl” is a non-profit web series designed as a dark, dramatic parody of the popular Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game for the Nintendo Wii. The Creators of the project are avid fans of Nintendo, and this series has been developed as an homage to the colorful characters of SSBB that we all know and love.

The cast is truly huge for something like this and the whole thing plays like a film noir, if you get the time all the episodes and various other downloads can be found HERE with the episodes watchable directly from HERE.

Certainly some screwed up stuff going on in these episodes... Watch out for Kirby, that dude will give you nightmares!

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 1 Sneak Peek

The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD includes a 56-second sneak peek at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1. The clip has made its way online and can be watched using the player below. The video has an intro by director David Yates and producer David Heyman that includes new behind-the-scenes footage!

Not sure how long this video will stay active as it's been taken down almost everywhere else so far!

Dh Preview One -

New Kick-Ass Poster - Red Mist!

I think Kick-Ass is one of the movies I'm most looking forward to in 2010 and this new poster makes me even happier that it's being made... McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) as Red Mist is just frickin awesome!

Iron Man 2 International Poster

Yet another Iron Man 2 poster to fuel your appetite's, this time featuring a helmetless Tony Stark...

Worst Fight Scenes Ever...

You know what? I love martial arts movies... I'm a huge Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee fan and have always loved Jean Claude Van Damme movies like Bloodsport and Kickboxer etc. I even used to watch old Chuck Norris and Cynthia Rothrock movies when I was younger and wanted to be in one of those scenes myself, kicking butt.

However there are certain movies that deserve to be burnt and left in movie hell... Below are two fighting scenes, one from a movie called Undefeatable and one from Gymkata. Both equally terrible in their own rights. Enjoy!

Dr. Who Has Fun On Santa's Sleigh?

BBC1 are currently running a promo featuring David Tennant as Dr. Who having some fun on Santa's sleigh for the Christmas season.

Can't believe he's stepping out on New Year for Matt Smith... T.V. tragedy!

"Hey You Guys" Charity Auction Event...

On December the 5th the second annual "Hey you Guys" charity auction event saw an amazing set of artistic entries for people to bid on. Not only am I a big fan of artwork like this but 80's movies are my favourite of all time. These pics all rock.

I have to admit that every piece of artwork is amazing but I've just posted a few of the ones I liked below. You can view the entire lot HERE.

Super Emo Friends...

As you all know I love cartoons and artwork, especially when it relates to Marvel or DC characters.

Below you can see some awesome pics from JSalvador's limited print collection called "Super Emo Friends".

You can also visit his site at jsalvadordesign.com and see more of his cool cartoony artwork. I love the names and the phrases under each... classic.

IT'S A GOOD DAY TO BE A HUTT.

I think every red-blooded male has had a princess leia fantasy at one time in their lives.

Relive that fantasy and enjoy!!!

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: ORIGINS

Jesse Corti, Danielle Harris , Bill Moseley, Joe Pilato, Alona Tal and Cornell Womack are warming up their voices for Night of the Living Dead : Origins, the 3D CGI re-imagining of the George A. Romero zombie classic directed by newcomer Zebediah de Soto.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story again follows a group of humans trying to stay alive during a zombie attack. Corti (Heroes) is voicing a news reporter, and Harris (Halloween II ) plays a woman who held her family together forced to come to grips with its absence. Moseley (Carnivale) is reprising the role he portrayed in a 1990 live-action remake Living Dead: a Wall Street-type with an expense account attitude. Pilato, who appeared in 1978's Dawn of the Dead is voicing Harry Cooper, a blue-collar worker who lives for his injured daughter, and Tal (Supernatural ) voices his wife, Helen, who blames her husband for all the ills of the world. Womack is a no-nonsense New York cop.

De Soto said some of the casting is "a nod to Romero fans. Horror is a genre and zombie movies are a subgenre that people have been following for years and years." "I wanted to make this look like a living Monet; it's expressionism," De Soto said. "It's going to be the first zombie movie played on a epic scale. This is the 'Empire of the Sun' of zombie films. ... I lived through the L.A. riots and saw the city on fire; I remember seeing people running, people getting pulled out of cars. And with 9/11, these images have been ingrained on people of my generation. I just thought that is the way it would really be, a lot of chaos."

The movie is being animated with the voicework in the early stages. No release date has been set

Here's a pic of the sexy Danielle Harris....just to keep you going till this is released.

FROM MODERN WARFARE TO FROST ROAD.

The apocalypse is so popular it would appear we have another "end of the world" project underway.

Keith Arem, who "directed" the recently released CALL OF DUTY game MODERN WARFARE 2, will make his feature film debut with a multi-platform endeavor called FROST ROAD.

Project revolves around a young man who awakens from a car accident to discover he is one of few survivors in the aftermath of a mysterious outbreak that's struck a small coast town on the East Coast. Somehow immune to the contagion, he tries to save the remaining survivors as he struggles to prevent the deadly wave from spreading across the planet.

Arem penned the script for the pic, and is also developing the project as a graphic novel with co-creator Brandon Humphreys, with Christopher Shy illustrating.

I AM LEGEND anyone?? sounds a little "been there done that", but as long as it's well made and a decent script I'm sure I'll watch it.

More when it's known!!!

SLINGERS...shite name...cool look.

This little gem (a preview clip to get funding) has apparently sparked enough interest to get a pilot underway very soon.

It's been described as OCEANS 11 meets FIREFLY....I possibly wouldn't go that far until a pilot has hit our screens, but it certainly looks like a good premise and bearing in mind it's some home grown British SCI FI it should be quality.

Creator Mike SIZEMORE had this to say about his creation.

It's directed by Steve Barron and stars Sean Pertwee, Adrian Bower, Tom Mison, Margo Stilley, Haruka Abe, GUN and JUNIOR. The outstanding conceptual design was by Arran and Corran Brownlee. The music is by The Mummers. And yeah I'm the creator/writer/idiot who came up with it. Sleepydog are the guys running the show.

To quickly answer the most obvious question, we're hoping to shoot the pilot in 2010. We have a few more meetings to get through before that happens, but we're still heading in the right direction. In fact we've had a lot of good news since the last update on here, but I don't wanna jinx anything just yet.

As and when it hits our screens expect a full review.

IS RENNER DONNING PURPLE TIGHTS FOR AVENGERS???

The recent news that The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner spoke with Marvel Studios about possibly portraying Hawkeye in Thor and/or The Avengers was met with excitement by many in the fan community. In a recent interview with SuperHeroHype, Renner said that he was sold on the idea of playing Hawkeye because Clint Barton is "just a man with a high skill set," rather than a hero with extraordinary powers. However, for those fans excited by the prospect of seeing the classic Hawkeye costume on film, prepare to be disappointed.
Renner said that the film version of Hawkeye will not bare much of a resemblance to the comic book version: "...it's going to be modernized, it's not going to be the guy with the big purple [mask], it's not going to be a guy in tights. It's going to be a guy in sunglasses and a vest. He's going to be more modernized and I'm gonna say, 'A cooler-looking version' and not the big weird costume he had on. I don't think they're going that route."

RENNER is no stranger to action movies, having appeared in SWAT and HURT LOCKER as well as 28 WEEKS LATER, but how will he do as a spandex clad superhero.........only time will tell, IF HE GETS CAST. I think it's all still up in the air, and no definite cast has been sorted for AVENGERS and last I heard HAWKEYE may not even appear in THOR.

MARVEL (and/or DISNEY) make your minds up. Bite the bullet and make AVENGER as awesome as it deserves!!!

Preview of the Captain america movie....I freakin hope not!!!!!!!

WTF!!!

This is a mental fan made movie of their adaption of Captain America......Jesus, I hope marvel don't get any ideas.

Very funny though, but beware of the bad language!!

Do we really need more RIDDICK???

It would appear that there's a third Riddick movie In the pipeline. I originally heard rumours about another 2 sequels to the average "chronicles of Riddick" , but due to the lackluster reception to the movie I just thought these were pie in the sky.

Now it would appear that Vin Diesel has Twittered that locations are being scouted for a Pitch Black threequel.

Last time anyone heard from director David Twohy or Vin Dielsel about another Riddick movie was in August, when Twohy explained that he had been developing two ideas, one rated PG-13, the other rated R, but the studio was having a hard time picking either. Now, on Vin Diesel's official Facebook page, he reveals that "the Riddick team is in New Zealand location scouting already… that's exciting."

It is, and it isn't. If the next movie turns out to be like Pitch Black then there is reason for excitement. If it turns out like the sequel, Chronicles Of Riddick...well, not so much.

Obviously Mr Diesel's reservations about sequels have gone well and truly out of the window now!!!

Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths - New Feature Trailer

Having enjoyed the Superman: Doomsday, New Frontier, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight and Superman/ Batman: Public Enemies animated movies from DC I'm totally hyped up to see even more footage (and behind the scenes extras) from the new 'Crisis on two Earths' release.

The voice actors are all very well known and seem to fit their characters perfectly and the story doesn't seem too far off of the original source material so far so I'm sure I'll enjoy this as much as the others. So far I think I rate Green Lantern: First Flight as my favourite, I'm hoping this new film takes its place!

You can view the first full trailer and get updates HERE on the official site.

Enjoy the new video below.

The Karate Kid Remake - New Photos

Brand new images of Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan in the new Karate Kid (or Kung Fu kid) movie have surfaced today and are shown below.

The new movie stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, and Taraji P. Henson. Smith plays Dre, a skateboarding video game buff who moves to China after his single mother is forced to go there for work. Unable to speak Chinese, Dre finds it hard to settle in, and gets beat up by the local bully. Chan plays Mr. Han, a maintenance man who spots his black-eye and offers to teach him both martial arts and Chinese, so he can defend against the students at the nearby school of kung-fu.

New Iron Man 2 Teaser Poster - Featuring War Machine!

Hot off the press is a new teaser poster for Iron Man 2 and it features not only our beloved armoured hero himself but also WAR MACHINE!

Who else is hyped about this sequel? Hands up... OK, that'd be everyone now then!
