I'm so excited for this! Wreck-It Ralph is one of my favourite Pixar movies of all time and next to The Incredibles is one the of the films I really wanted a sequel to.

Ghostbusters World AR Game Coming To Mobiles Soon

Yesterday teaser information went up about a new game that plays in the same vain as Pokemon Go, but this time with a dive into the Ghostbusters World (no pun intended).

So below is the teaser poster, trailer, and pre-alpha gameplay vid to get you excited!

"Ghostbusters World, is an all-new state-of-the-art augmented reality game currently in development. The game features the latest in AR and other mobile technologies and differentiates itself with skill-based gameplay and numerous other exciting features yet to be announced. Gameplay will enable players to battle and capture hundreds of ghosts from all dimensions of the franchise, including the films, TV shows, comic books, theme parks, and video games. The game will also feature new and unique ghosts to the franchise. The Ghostbusters World Game is currently in development as part of a collaboration between Sony Pictures Entertainment Consumer Products, Ghost Corps and publisher FourThirtyThree Inc".

Joss Whedon Exits Batgirl Movie

Director Joss Whedon has stepped down from his involvement in the Batgirl movie citing he "really didn't have a story" and "couldn't crack the code" of what Batgirl needed to be as a film, which is great when you think that it's better that he didn't just go ahead with any old  piece of rubbish, but then gain we might get someone worse to direct. It's been stated however that in the wake of director Patty Jenkins doing so well with Wonder Woman that a female director should take the helm of Batgirl instead. We'll have to wait and see what happens!

Laurence Fishburn Is Producing An Animated Series Of Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur

Marvel Comics character, Lunella Lafayette a.k.a. Moon Girl will soon become a Disney animated series The comic series follows the adventures of nine-year-old genius, Lunella and her red, T-Rex dinosaur. The show will be executive produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugarland for Cinema Gypsy Productions and Marvel Animation.

Disney Rebooting The Muppets For Their Own Streaming Service

The last series of The Muppets was something that I didn't manage to catch at all, maybe one day, but news this week states that the new Disney streaming service is looking to reboot it along with many other films and TV shows. The new streaming service is said to be looking at Star Wars, High School Musical, Monsters, Inc., The Mighty Ducks, The Parent Trap, Father of the Bride and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids as possible reboots, and all of that should get you excited if you can get to watch them. For me The Muppets is one of the most important creations of my childhood, so news of them carrying on in any form is good news.

Solo: A Star Wars Story - Sabotage Trailer Re-Cut

I wasn't a huge fan of the Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer, but here it is, made a million time better, having been re-cut to the Beastie Boys hit "Sabotage" (does it work better than in Star Trek: Beyond? :P)

Marvel Comics Announce Complete Overhaul In 2018

Marvel announced yesterday that they're overhauling/rebooting their entire comic range this year quoting "New Creative Teams. New Series. New Directions. New Beginnings.".

A video was released along with a piece of artwork by Jim Cheung to promote the new direction. You can see in the vid and in the artwork that Ant-Man and The Wasp will be prominent and that the original male Thor is back in action (with Mjolnir?) and we know there will be some character and team shake ups coming too. Hopefully lots to look forward to!

Lost In Space Netflix Reboot Series - Teaser Trailer

"Danger Will Robinson"!!! The first teaser trailer for Netflix's upcoming Lost in Space reboot is here and although it doesn't give us much, other than a look at the main actors, those final few seconds surprisingly gave me goosebumps. I'll be watching this when it's released!

Toy Fair 2018 Funko Product Release Highlights

It's truly amazing to see how far Funko have come as a company since they started producing bobbleheads back around 2007/2008 when I first worked in the entertainment merchandise distribution industry. Their catalogue of products grows exponentially every year, as does their vast amount of licences they are able to procure.
