Whether it be for the First Class sequel, or maybe even the movie trilogy reboot, 20th Century Fox just filed the title "Days of Future Past" with the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and it's ignited on-line speculation as to whether it actually relates to an X-Men movie or something else entirely.
As any X-Men fan knows Days of Future Past is the title of a popular comic arc from 1981.
The two-issue arc delved into a dark potential future, where mutants are kept locked up in internment camps. Future Kitty Pryde sends her mind back to present-day Kitty Pryde, and the X-Men jump in to help prevent the anti-mutant future.
Personally I don't believe it'll be the First Class sequel... We'll have to wait and see!
