Although this new full length trailer shows us a hell of a lot more than the previous Superbowl trailer and there's a new synopsis I still think everyone's non the wiser...
All I can tell in my own words after watching this new trailer is that Super 8 is a Stand By Me/ E.T. style movie where a group of kids who are filming something on a Super 8 camera witness a train crash resulting in the escape of a military-held nasty that ravages their small town...
Here's the brief official synopsis that may explain it better than me:
"In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined."
