Cool Mighty Muggs Artwork By Rocky Davies...

Whilst perusing the internet this week I came across and artists' web-site which featured a number of Hasbro Mighty Mugg art designs.

I'm a huge collector of Mighty Muggs (I'm only missing a single wave of Star Wars and have every other one that exists) and some of these are extremely cool. If only Hasbro had the license to do anything and we didn't have to buy sub-par eBay versions! :)

You can find Rocky's we-site HERE

Crush Of The Week #12

Unfortunately I was too busy last week to come up with a "crush of the week", so I'm doing two this week instead.

Here's my first, and seeing as The Amazon Princess went for an old 80's crush last week I'll follow suit with one of my first major crushes - Jennifer Connelly.

When I was 8 years old Labyrinth was released and not only did it have amazing Jim Henson puppets but it also had Miss Connelly too. This was the start of my Connelly love. I think I already had a young crush on Brooke Shields too by that point if I remember and to be honest they look a hell of a lot alike.

Anyway, the next film which super-increased my boyhood love for Jennifer was the 1991 movie The Rocketeer, one of my favourite films as a kid and one in which a more frumpy Jennifer definitively cemented herself into my "hotty" list. Now she's older she's also a hell of a lot skinnier and I'm not as keen as I once was, but she's still gorgeous nonetheless. She just needs some better movies on her backlist as she's been in some real stinkers over the last 20 years! Enjoy the pics!

Cool Videos...

Some cool videos from around the web here for you today! They are:

1) Norman the bike-riding dog...

2) Emerald Comic Con 2012: Star Wars Trilogy: The Radio Play by famous voice actors - Official Video

3) Isaac's Live Lip-Dub Proposal (I may have shed a little tear at this one...)

Arnold Schwarzenegger And Sylvester Stallone Talk About 'The Tomb' - Video

Entertainment Tonight was able to check out the set to the new action-thriller The Tomb with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The stars talked about being competitive, working together before and working together again on this new project.

The Tomb follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he's ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.

Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.

The sound quality is is bit bad on this, or maybe it's just Sly and Arnie's voices...

Iron Man 3 & Thor 2 Casting News...

From enewsi.com:

Iron Man 3

It appears everyone wants to be a villian in a Marvel movie and according to Variety, Ashley Hamilton is in talks to play the government cyborg Firepower. The character of Firepower is 'the pilot of an experimental armored suit under the secret mission dubbed Project: Firepower. He eventually uses the suit to battle Iron Man.'

"Iron Man 3" starts production this month with the storyline surrounding the 'elements from Warren Ellis' six-issue "Iron Man: Extremis," which also influenced the first "Iron Man" installment, and focuses on the spread of a virus through nanotechnology.'

Shane Black is directing and co-wrote the script with Drew Pearce. Robert Downey Jr. returns as billionaire Tony Stark, while Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Rebecca Hall also star.

Iron Man 3 is scheduled for release on May 3rd, 2013.

Thor 2

Mads Mikkelsen is in negotiation to play an villian in Marvel and Disney's Thor 2. Which villian is still unknown at this time but Tom Hiddleston's Loki will still be the main villian in the sequel (really? KW)

The original cast of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander and Idris Elba are all returning with Alan Taylor directing the sequel. The screenplay is being written by Robert Rodat and Don Payne.

Thor 2 is scheduled to be released on November 15, 2013.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation - Pushed Back 9 Months To March 2013?

Old news from last week but it would seem that G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been pushed back to March 2013 instead of its original June 2012 release date... Why? Because Paramount supposedly want to convert the whole thing to 3D to increase the money they'll make worldwide.

Meh, I'll be seeing it in 2D anyway so give it to me this year... 9 months delay my arse.

"The Watch" - New Trailer

Teamcoco.com got their hands on a brand new exclusive trailer for "The Watch" starring Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade as suburban dads patrolling the neighborhood, and protecting it... from an alien invasion.

To me this still looks hit and miss, but we'll have to wait until July to find out for sure.

Enjoy!

DC Animation's New Movie - The Dark Knight Returns. Images And Voice Casting News

DC Animation revealed last week who will voice Batman, Robin and Two-Face in their upcoming adaptation of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. Peter Weller (Robocop) will voice Batman, Ariel Winter (Modern Family) will voice Robin and Wade Williams (Prison Break) will voice Harevy Dent/Two-Face.

The Hollywood Reporter has also debuted a batch of new still photos from the two-part adaptation, which will be directed by Jay Oliva. These images give us a first look at the animated style of the movie (as well as how closely it resembles the art in the original graphic novel).

The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 will be available on DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital Download later this year, while Part 2 will be released early next year.

The Walking Dead: First Look At Danai Gurira As Michonne!

Here's the first official look (as the end of season début was technically just a hooded silhouette) of actress Danai Gurira as the katana-wielding Michonne.

Fans who have only seen the TV series won't be as excited as the original fans who started with the comics, but both are in for a treat if the show runners stay true to her character.

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises - New Images, Posters & Banners

Here's a whole bunch of new images, posters & banners (some with text, some without) for this years upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. The second most anticipated movie after Avengers and before Prometheus and Amazing Spider-Man for me. :)

Enjoy!
