Marvel One-Shot: All Hail The King - New Pics
Attached to the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of Thor: The Dark World will be a new Marvel one-shot short featuring Iron Man 3's Sir Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery.
From Comingsoon.net:
The 14-minute short will pick up shortly after the events of Iron Man 3, with Trevor serving time in Seagate prison (a familiar location to Marvel Comics readers) and he's granted his first interview since he's been imprisoned. Scoot McNairy will play the documentarian interviewing Trevor, and the topics they discuss will range from Slattery's early acting career to whether he worries about The Ten Rings potentially targeting him "for making a mockery of their organization."
"Imagine a real terrorist organization whose beliefs were long held and religious for thousands of years, and imagine a drunk, British actor coming along and essentially telling the world that he's the face of your organization," Iron Man 3 and All Hail the King screenwriter Drew Pearce said. "I think they would be right to be quite angry."
Pearce also revealed that the idea for the One-Shot originated from Marvel's The Avengers writer/director Joss Whedon.
"'The Further Adventures of Trevor' was something we had talked about on set all the time, and when we sat down to talk about what the short would be, it was Stephen [Broussard, executive producer of Iron Man 3] and Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and myself and Joss Whedon and Jeremy Latcham [executive producer of The Avengers.] So we kicked around a bunch of ideas and there were loads of them that we liked, and it was actually Joss who at a certain point went like, 'Or you could do the one that has Sir Ben Kingsley in it because you have access to Sir Ben Kingsley.'"
Pearce also mentions that the short could pave the way for future stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying: "By the end of the short, there are definitely a lot of exciting other places that are brought up in it that could then go in the Marvel universe. You know, whether that's an Iron Man movie or another one going into Phase Two or Three."

Marvel Officially Confirms Paul Rudd As Ant-Man...
As some of you will know Ant-Man is a Marvel character I'm quite close to, both through the comics in his various incarnations, and the fact that I cosplay him from time to time. I like to think I know the character very well and therefore the news that Paul Rudd was officially cast by Edgar Wright for the upcoming Marvel Phase III movie was a bit of a let down.
I admit I've never liked Paul Rudd and his work in Hollywood so maybe I'm a bit biased, but is it only me who thinks he's not someone you'd picture as Hank Pym or Scott Lang? As it turns out it looks like Edgar Wright is looking to cast Rudd as the more recent incarnation Scott Lang and not the original Avenger Hank Pym (going by a Tweet he sent out last week saying he's been watching the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episodes with Scott Lang in them) and if that's the case then I can see the path they're taking, the more humorous and witty Ant-Man and not the super-intelligent scientific version. Anyway, it's done now and as I always say "let's just wait and see".
Let's at least hope Ant-Man is integrated into future Avenger movies! :)
The Expendables 3 & Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Teaser Trailer
Two teaser trailers for the price of one here with The Expendables 3 and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Two films I'm definitely looking forward to having enjoyed the previous films in both franchises. :)
How To Train Your Dragon 2 - First Full Trailer
YES!!!
I think it's safe to say that in my house we watch a hell of a lot of animated movies and I think it's also safe to say that one of our favourite releases has to be How to train your Dragon... Now the sequel is on its way and it looks amazing!
It's been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and Vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favourite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the centre of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.

22 Jump Street - Red Band Trailer
Being a huge fan of the first movie "21 Jump Street" and only just having convinced the Missus to watch it again with me the other day I can safely say that I'm very happy that the sequel now has a trailer and it looks just as funny as the first one!
After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt and Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college.

LEGO - The Hobbit Game Trailer
Having recently completed the awesome LEGO Marvel video game with my eldest daughter we're gagging for a new release in the LEGO gaming series. I admit we haven't played the Lord of the Rings game yet, although we have it, but maybe we'll get The Hobbit to play first and then play Lord of the Rings. :) Looks great anyway.

Guardians Of The Galaxy - First Official Cast Image
If there's one Marvel movie I'm looking forward to more than any in the near future it's got to be Guardians of the Galaxy. Apart from a stellar cast it's also one of my favourite comic books so seeing it on the big screen is a huge dream of mine!
Here's the first image of the main cast of characters - Gamora, Star-Lord, Rocket Racoon, Drax, and Groot.
