Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters - New Red Band (NSFW) Trailer
A new, slightly NSFW, trailer here for the upcoming Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters movie starring Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner...
I'm not sold on this one yet, going by the trailers at least, but it can't be worse than films like Van Helsing or The Brothers Grimm, so there's hope... I hope. :P

Far over the Misty Mountains...
So, for those of you who don't know I'm a huge fan of Acappella artist Peter Hollens and an even bigger fan of The Hobbit. I loved the Misty Mountains song, sung by the dwarves (and the Howard Shore version) and then a few days ago THIS appeared on YouTube...
I love that he put the extra verses into his piece and there was no where near enough time in the film to fit them in and its such a beautiful song. The best part? There's even a piece with Jun Sung Ahn on violin!!!

Sideshow/DC Collectibles New 1/6th Scale Figures Are Awesome!
As a massive collector (and especially 1/6th scale DC characters) I'm always overly excited when I see new stuff being announced, and on the odd occasion, if I think it's noteworthy enough, I post it up on here...
I think you'll agree that these new Sideshow/DC Collectible 1/6th scale (12 - 13 inches tall) figures of Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Joker, and Catwoman are definitely worth posting up, and I know for sure that they'll be on my next Forbidden Planet order (once they're up for pre-order!). No release date just yet though!

Godzilla - First Two Movie Images!
These images were released two weeks ago by Legendary Pictures for their upcoming 2014 Godzilla remake directed by Gareth Edwards. The 2012 San Diego Comic Con teaser-screening was a huge hit and I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to this if they can get it right, considering the disastrous 1998 version...

The World's End - First Image Of Simon Pegg & Co!
Following on from The Dark Knight's post two days ago where we got our first official glimpse of the poster for 'The World's End' we now have the first movie image featuring Pegg and co which was Tweeted by Pegg himself to celebrate the end of principal photography a couple of weeks ago.
Here's the synopsis:
"20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Pegg), a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries."

Star Trek: Into Darkness - New Images
Hello KW visitors and welcome to 2013!
A few posts coming up in the next few days from me starting with some new Star Trek: Into Darkness images from the most recent UK Empire Magazine release.
Here's the synopsis in case you missed it:
"In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.
As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew."
UPDATE: Newer, clearer images were released online today so I've replaced the Empire-scanned versions with the new ones. Enjoy!
