A large dose of cool pics from the web here for you today, hope you enjoy!

Real-Life Skyrim Parody - Video

Another amazing real-life gamer video from Youtuber FreddieW.

SKYRIM! :)

New 2013 Tomb Raider Game - Trailer

Wow... Tomb Raider got pretty frickin brutal.

This all looks a hell of a lot more like the Uncharted series of games than Tomb Raider and it also looks very adult in nature.

Not the kind of thing you want your kids accidentally watching whilst you play, especially the cut-scenes!

Goal Celebrations... With Added FX - Video

What makes a footballer's goal celebration even more special? Special effects... Hilarious.

Enjoy!

Dog The Bounty Hunter Show Cancelled After 8 Years...

Not a big deal for some people, and I'm sure there are even others that don't even know what Dog the Bounty Hunter even is, but news broke this week that the much-loved series has been cancelled due to "creative differences"...

Bye bye Dog, happy hunting. :(

The Fraggle Rock Movie Is A Go!

Oh how I love Fraggle Rock...

And now the pant-wettingly cool news comes to us that the previously stalled Fraggle Rock movie is a go!

News released this week states that Rango co-writer Jim Byrkit and former Cartoon Network exec Alex Manugian will pen the script, and The Jim Henson Co. and the Montecito Picture Co. are producing.

No word yet on when production will begin.

CANNOT WAIT!!! I've started humming the theme tune now...

The Bourne Legacy - Official Trailer

So here's the first full official trailer for The Bourne Legacy starring Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye in The Avengers).

'Ol Jeremy is certainly increasing his action hero status these days!

DC Universe "Injustice: Gods Among Us" - Videogame Announcement Trailer

The makers of Mortal Kombat - NetherRealm has teamed up with the DC Universe again for Injustice: Gods Among Us the videogame.

Does it look good? I can't really tell, but the old Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe wasn't great so we'll have to wait and see. Love the Superman atmosphere punch but I'm not sure Batman has the ability to roundhouse-kick Solomon Grundy through a building and beyond!

Benedict Cumberbatch Not Playing Khan In Star Trek 2?

From Comicbookmovie.com:

Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, was profiled in the UK Telegraph today while promoting his latest movie, A Fantastic Fear of Everything. When the actor was quizzed about the villainous character played by Benedict Cumberbatch, he first offers up a few vague details, before completely dismissing claims that he will be playing classic Trek villain Khan as "myth"..

Pegg is full of praise for Cumberbatch’s baddy, whom he describes [as] “not just another disgruntled alien. It’s a really interesting… sort of… thing,” he squirms. “Obviously I can’t talk about it.” While not wanting to get specific, Pegg did flatly deny reports and rumors that Cumberbatch is playing Khan…

“It’s not Khan,” replies Pegg, annoyed. “That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not.”

Although nobody officially involved with the Star Trek sequel has ever confirmed that the character Cumberbatch is playing is Khan, it was so widely reported by various industry insiders and reputable net journos that most of us just assumed it was a given. Pegg seems rather adamant that it is not, but could he just be continuing a ruse began by Abrams back when this was first reported? Even after several different sources claimed that it would be Khan giving the crew of The Enterprise headaches, the director stuck to his guns. One thing is certain, Pegg is no fan of spoilers or early plot leaks, nor by the sounds of it the fans that show an interest in them, claiming “It masquerades as interest in the movie but really it’s just nosiness and impatience. You just want to say, ‘Oh f— off! Wait for the film!’”.

Fail Compilation Video May 2012

God how I love watching these fail compilation videos... However I'll admit that this time I was cringing almost the entire way through with a few loud "OHHHHH" and "OWWWWW" moments from me thrown in for good measure.

You have been warned!

The Real-Life Zombie Apocalypse Has Begun...

I think we need to let Milla Jovovich know that she'll be doing some method acting very soon...

This story from earlier this week is quite disturbing:

An unidentified homeless man is fighting for his life after his face was nearly eaten off by a naked attacker Saturday on a downtown highway ramp in Miami.

The attacker has been identified as Rudy Eugene, a 31-year-old homeless man. Some are speculating that he may have been high on LSD.

“He was ripping into his face with his teeth,” said Miami resident Larry Vega, who witnessed the attack. “He was ripping his skin, his neck. He had him held down. The guy couldn’t move really, and he was just tearing into his flesh. … You see these things in the movies, but when you see it up front and up close, it’s pretty traumatic. It really is.”

When a police officer approached and told Eugene to get off his victim, Eugene just kept chewing. The officer fired a warning shot, but Eugene “just stood… with pieces of flesh in his mouth and he growled,” Vega said.

The officer then shot and killed Eugene.

As for the unfortunate victim, “much of his face was gone, the skin ripped away, the nose bitten and the eyes gouged,” according to the Miami Herald. He is in critical condition.

“We’re hoping that he pulls through, for his well-being, but also so he can tell us what happened,” said Sgt. Javier Ortiz, of the Miami police union. “Only he knows.”

Eugene has now being hailed the "Miami Zombie" for his atrocious act and what isn't mentioned above in the original story is that the police shot him once to kill him and he carried on lunching on his victim 'Ronald Poppo', so they shot him again multiple times to finish him off... I've seen the pics of Ronald's face and I can assure you that you don't want to see what's left...

Get your cricket bats ready!

The Muppets - Blooper Reel Video

Here we have an awesome 8 and a half minute blooper reel for the 2011 "The Muppets" movie.

This only increases my love of the Muppets and the enhances my purest belief that these are living, breathing, creatures and not a lump of felt on a guy's arm! :)

Enjoy!

Badass Bartender - Video

Ukranian bartender Alexander Shitfanov could well be the most talented bartender in the world...

The Avengers Craft-Time: Lollipop Stick Bookmarks By Kryptonian Warrior!

A few weeks ago I posted up a pic in "Cool Pics From The Web" which featured an Iron-Man, Captain America & Hulk set of lollipop stick bookmarks from "craftsbyamanda.com".

This is the original pic by that site:

Last night I got bored and attempted my own versions... I must stress that these are all first-tries with numerous issues like wrong colours, inability to match the movie versions, mistakes whilst colouring etc. But my kids loved them and they were fun to do. I'm thinking of adding more Avengers to the roster and maybe even attempting some X-Men and Justice League versions. My youngest has already commissioned me to do a Supergirl and my eldest a Wonder Woman version for their school books!

 These are mine:

As you'll notice they are very rough and certain body features need a little tweaking to look less scary, but I'm happy with the end result! :P

Total Recall - New TV Spots

2 new TV spots here for the upcoming Total Recall remake. Looking pretty good so far, but will it top my love for the original? Kate Beckinsale will have have to whip out 3 boobs to win on that one...

Will Smith: Quips Mashup - Video

Slightly NSFW!

I think I can safely say that Will Smith is one of my favourite actors of all time. Many will disagree with me and say that they hate most of the films he's in, but not me. Independence Day, Bad Boys I & II, Men in Black I, II & III, I-Robot... I love them all.

Below is a compilation/ mashup video with a number of Smith's 'quips' from a few of his movies. I'll make it my quest this week to drop these into various conversations I have this week. :P

Resident Evil: Retribution - Brand New Posters & Banners

Below are a butt-load of new posters and banners for the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution movie. No idea how many are actually real/official, but at this stage they all look it.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. Cosplay Fever London MCM Expo May 2012 Lip Dub Video: "It's My Life"

The bi-yearly London MCM Expo is something I never fail to attend. It's not that it's great, in fact it's usually bloody boring and I never stay for more that two hours max, and that's only buying non-UK items for me and the kids, but it's close to me and they sometimes have pretty awesome guests (Danny de Vito on the Sunday this year).

This video below is by Cosplay Fever and was filmed both in Camden and at the Expo this month.

Enjoy!

Iron Man 3 News & Iron Patriot Armour Pics!

From Comicsalliance.com:

Just who is Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark facing off against in next year's Iron Man 3? According to new unconfirmed reports, it's just who fans expected - only, maybe not in the same way that you were expecting it. Something fans may not have expected at all could also be in the works as well, however.

Latino Review, the movie site that has boasted before of its access to the closed set of Marvel Studio's big first post-Avengers release, has taken the opportunity to address some rumors floating around by "confirming" some... Even though, of course, this confirmations may as well be taken as rumor themselves considering their lack of identifiable source. Nonetheless, the site takes Marvel's "no comment" to its reporting of William Sadler's involvement in the movie as confirmation of the idea ("HELLS YEAH, Sadler's in the movie," it breathlessly repeats) while also giving us the news some have been eagerly awaiting:
Here's what we can CONFIRM as true (and not from some guy working security on an off-lot shoot): The Mandarin (as played by Ben Kingsley) is a villain in the 'Iron Man 3,' but he's more a veiled threat as a silent partner to Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killian. Killian is the man inventing Extremis and putting it into his "Extremis army" of multiple super-powered individuals.

Warren Ellis has previously confirmed that Iron Man 3 will be drawing from the 'Extremis' storyline he and Adi Granov created for the relaunch of the comic series in 2004. The possible insertion of the Mandarin as a behind-the-scenes villain would imply the movie will be using the comic storyline as a jumping-off point, especially if Pearce's Killian will be portrayed as the movie's central villain as opposed to the more sympathetic character he appeared in the Ellis/Granov story.

What's more, Super Hero Hype is now reporting that they've confirmed Iron Patriot armor (the Stark armor repurposed by Norman Osborn while he lead his team of Avengers during Dark Reign). SHH is quick to point out that since Osborn is a Spider-Man character currently controlled by Sony that the character piloting the suit almost certainly won't be him, so the man (or woman) behind the mask remains a mystery. Given his ties to the government, could War Machine be up for a redesign?

Iron Man 3 is due for release on May 3, 2013.

EDIT: 08/06/12 - Turns out the Iron Patriot armour is actually War Machine and not some new bad guy armour etc.

Tetris - Fan-Made Blockbuster Trailer

Movies based on random games, both board and video, are becoming increasingly frequent and Youtuber 'Warialasky' decided to jump on the fan-made bandwagon and produce this trailer for an alien invasion movie based on... TETRIS.

Enjoy!

G.I. Joe: Retaliation - Delay 'Til March 2013: Update + Spoiler

It would seem that the original news about the 9 month delay for the release of G.I. Joe: Retaliation wasn't just to gain more money internationally by post-converting the movie to 3D but also due to the fact that initial test screenings suffered major complaints due to the early death of one of the first movies' main characters - Channing Tatum's 'Duke'...

Confirmation hit this week that Duke dies in the early ambush seen in the trailer and due to this, and the fact that Duke and Roadblock's relationship and back story as 'buddies' hasn't been fleshed out at all, some rewriting and re-shooting will have to be done.

So it's not all about the action! Why they had to kill Duke off I don't know, just have him M.I.A and pop up a the end or something!
